Ceva Animal Health Feliway Diffuser Refill 48ml

Ordered Feliway Refill 48ml to replace the original one that had been depleted. I used this with the plugin as found Feliway helped calm my new cat who was very nervous and aggressive when I first adopted her. Although she has calmed down considerably since then and no longer needed to use the plug in diffuser on a daily basis, I was concerned that a distruptive Halloween, plus a friend who was coming to visit for a couple of weeks in October, followed Fireworks Night would be very stressful for her and that Feliway would be a calming influence. I plugged the diffuser in a week before the events and she remained nice and calm despite the increased activity in and outside the home. I was particularly impressed with her behaviour during the 3 weeks of Fireworks as invariably a week or so prior and after the actual event, there are several private fireworks parties going on in surrounding gardens along with teenagers letting off some loud bangers in the street - other than the odd little jump or curious look at the closed curtains when one was let off close to the home, she stayed calm and seemingly unperturbed by it all!

I have three cats, one of who becomes noticeably neurotic when the Feliway runs out. This cat is a nervous cat around strangers and also becomes very needy, meowing for unknown reasons and waking us up at silly o'clock. The Feliway really helps to calm his behaviour down and makes him a much more chilled out cat. It does get pricey but it has been worth it for us. Don't plug it in near a radiator though as it runs out really quickly then.

This is great stuff that is my go to item when my cat is upset by household changes. I cannot recommend it enough even though it can be pricey. I've used it when moving house, when I go on holiday and when having things like a new kitchen installed. My cat gets anxious and agitated at these changes and begins to mew at ungodly hours, this settles her down in a few days! It is always much cheaper on Amazon compared to my local vets, often £10 or so less.

My cats are so relaxed with this stuff, they're horizontal... was using it over a period when my daughters cat came to stay while undergoing vet treatment. They all got along so well - I was very surprised at how relaxed my skittish younger cat was when this big grey tom cat entered her territory, she's often easily stressed, leading to 'accidents'. No accidents at all!

Used as defined in the instructions but no reaction from cat, still SCRATCHING all the paper from the walls.

We run the diffuser 24/7 as we have 3 cats, all of which were strays/abandoned and in general we have a very happy cat household. With one cat in particular we certainly notice the difference when the bottle has run out with the comment "has the feliway run out?" being a regular comment when he gets particularly rowdy.

So good if your cat is stressed as most cats become at any change of circumstance. Have bought this a few times during our cats life who is now 6 years old and has calmed him down each time. Does take a few days to work so don't always expect to see a difference straight away. Well worth purchasing

This product does what it says. My cat was very calm after using prior to going on holiday. She used to get so stressed out when going to cattery but not now. I will definately re order when next needed. I was also very impressed by the price. A lot cheaper than pet supplies stores
