... a fanastic Lego Tecnics model - one of the best in the current range I think
The media could not be loaded. This is a fanastic Lego Tecnics model - one of the best in the current range I think. It was bought as a present for my 9 year old son's Christmas and we spent a wonderful post Boxing Day day making it - it took several hours and was very enjoyable for us both. There is a massive number of parts and the instruction book was pretty thick and daunting but the instructions are clear and it went together without too many major hiccups - a couple of points we had to go back but it worked out well. Some of the features are very clever including the main gearbox which switches the function the main control operates. It takes a while for it to start to resemble the Airport Fire Truck but slowly the features emerge.It is genuinely feature rich - includes 4 wheel steering, and the spray boom unfolds, raises and turns. The unfolding element is a separate manual function from the main function, which is switched from turning to raising from the switch on the top. Even the fire fighters tool tray stored deep inside the body and the working pistons on the engine show the level of detail in the model.We also upgraded and added the Lego Tecnic Power Functions Set (8293) which adds lighting and powers the ladder raising and turning.

Slight disappointment with the motorising of the boom
Slight disappointment with the motorising of the boom, it will all revolve and the lower boom will raise and lower but the top boom has to be done manually, (unless I built it wrong, which is quite possible). A great kit.

I've just purchased this on behalf of Santa for my grandson for Xmas. He loves Lego and I thought that this would be a good project in the introduction to Lego technics.

premetto subito che 5 stelle sono poche, io ne darei 6, visto che il prodotto è davvero eccezzionale e completo. Lo si monta in 2/3 giorni. Presenta qualche difficoltà, attenzione quinid a seguire le istruzioni, sopratutto nella fase degli ingranaggi, nella parte posteriore. Io ho confuso un ingranaggio e ho dovuto smontare mezzo camion per sistemarlo. Nonostante questo mi sono divertito e il risultato finale è davvero sorprendente.. quinid non mi resta altro da fare che consigliarlo e augurarvi Buon Natale e buon divertimento, Come sempre Amazon è positiva sia come consegna e affidabilità..

Gut gemachtes Modell
Ein eher mittelgroßes LEGO-Technic Set zum 40jährigen Jubiläum des Themas.Das Modell ist gut gemacht und verfügt über einige hübsche Funktionen wie z. B. einen schwenk- und ausfahrbaren Löscharm (sog. "Snozzle"), zwei mit unterschiedlichem Winkel lenkbare Achsen und 4-Zylinder-Motor mit arbeitenden Kolben und Pleueln. Der wäre für ein realitätsgetreues Modell unterdimensioniert, aber wohl aus Platzgründen nicht anders machbar.Aufgrund vorheriger Rezensionen war ich besorgt ob der Lieferung, amazon hat sich aber entgegen meiner Befürchtung die berechtigte Kritik anderer Besteller offenbar zu Herzen genommen. Das Set kam in einen stabilen Umkarton verpackt an, dafür schonmal Daumen hoch. So muss das sein!Leider waren die Bauanleitung und die Aufkleber nicht, wie bei anderen Technic-Artikeln in einer Tüte, sondern lagen lose in der Verpackung zwischen den Tüten mit den Bausteinen. Dementsprechend verknickt (Anleitung) bzw. zerknautscht (Aufkleberbogen) kamen die Sachen an. Schade LEGO, das geht sonst besser, zumal die Aufkleber - speziell auf den gerundeten Technic-Teilen - ohnehin nicht für ihre Dauerhaltbarkeit bekannt sind.Der Aufbau des aus gut über 1.000 Teilen bestehenden Fahrzeugs ist für den versierten LEGO-Fan in ein paar Stunden zu schaffen und auch für Kinder mit etwas Technic-Erfahrung machbar. Wer möchte, kann das Modell mit Power Functions nachrüsten (nicht enthalten, habe ich auch nicht gemacht) und so einige der Funktionen motorisieren.Das fertige Modell macht sich gut im Regal und wird mit Sicherheit in diesem Jahr noch um den neu erschienenen First Responder 42075 ergänzt. Für Kinder eignet es sich auch zum Spielen. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung, mit einem zugedrückten Auge für die lose Anleitung und die Aufkleber noch fünf Sterne.
