Already notice a difference
I have a 400litre marine tank. So I am using these for 5 days now and the difference is amazing. The algae is already changing to red and dying out. However 4 days into using, the water has become cloudy. I have read up that others have had the same issue and said it fixed itself after a few days so will wait and see what happens

They gum up reactors.
This is the second time I have purchased these for my aquarium. There will never be a third time. I have used a lot of different brands of nitrate reducing plastic beads but these are, without a doubt, the worst I have ever used. When they have been in the reactor for a while they become so fine that they totally block the filter plates in the reactor. I tried them on three different makes of reactor and it happened with all three of them. I ended up chucking them in the bin and getting a decent brand which actually work properly. I honestly can't say for certain if they reduced nitrate levels as I never managed to keep them working long enough to find out. There is a reason they are cheaper than other brands. Stay away from them.

Haven't noticed a difference yet but only been in a ...
Haven't noticed a difference yet but only been in a week. These things are heavy. I have them in a reactor hooked up to a 1200 lph canister filter with a 650lph pump going in to and it's still not enough flow to make them tumble.- Update. After adding a 1000lph pump along with my canister filter the pearls are tumbling as they should. Less than a month of use and my nitrates have gone from between 40-50pmm to 2pmm. Cannot believe the difference this has made in such a short amount of time.

Iquatics biopearl
The media could not be loaded. Doesn't biodegrade and make my deltec skimmer malfunction. Immediately when I remove this biopearl in my system my skimmer went back to normal function.I' m using this biopearl for almost a year now but my latest purchased of this product is a disaster, phospate and nitrate spikes as I didn't noticed that the skimmer is not producing any foam besides from different adjustment, I'm not sure if there's a fake of this but I bought my previous biopearl from this shop
