MD Sports Air Hockey Table with Arcade Electronic Scorer, Perfect for Family Game Rooms

I took a long time making this decision...I did a lot of research and finally decided on this table...I read all the reviews and took the few negative with a grain of salt because all the negative reviews for EVERY different table were the exact same...blower motor too weak, box was mangled and table damaged, electronics didn't work...Although these were my primary concerns as well, I wanted a table and since literally every one had at least one of those exact same complaints, I figured I'd take a chance. I would soon find that any fears I had with this table were completely misplaced. Not only was it delivered early, but the box itself was completely undamaged. The table was so well packaged, there was no way for it to be damaged in shipping. Once I opened the box, I found the table in perfect shape with zero damage. Assembly is minor, just the legs and puck return. I assembled and flipped it myself with a little ingenuity, although I would recommend two people for the flip...It's pretty heavy. My only negative comment is the puck return. It's two pieces of flimsy plastic and they do not fit together well at all...the pilot holes don't line up either. However, this did not effect play or the actual return of the puck so far...plus the return is under the table, so it's not visible at all. The blower is very strong, the puck play is very smooth and fast. Electronics and sound effects are great. I read a couple reviews saying the pucks were too light and flew off the table. I crushed the puck on purpose just to see and it stayed on the table every time. All in all I was very pleased with this purchase. Great value!...

The table was delivered on time and the delivery company kept us updated on when to expect it. Box was very heavy, but it was packed in a crate so it was very protected. When researching tables, there were many complaints on all but this table had some of the better reviews so we decided to purchase and we were not disappointed. Table was packed very well, everything came in tact, no damage and everything worked. This is a great table, fan is powerful and my family is having a blast with it! Definitely recommend this product!

12/26/23 - The table comes in an a huge box weighting 295lbs, literally took me two hours and multiple trash cans to dispose of all the packaging materials. I finally get the table all setup on Christmas Eve and none of the lights or sound work. Very disappointing for a $1,300 table on Christmas Eve. I call MD Sports first thing Tuesday morning after Christmas, wait about a half hour even though I called at their opening time, and spoke to Jennifer. Who was not very apologetic and told me they will not send anyone to fix it, just send me the part with 4 screws when it’s back in the stock, but she has to check when that will be, and will call me back and email me when she has an eta in 24-48 hours. It’s now Friday night, no call or email, I called MD Sports within their business hours (they work on pacific time) it says they are closed. Jennifer also told me they are just a part supplier or something like that when I asked if they would come out and fix so I’m not feeling very good about this company and them standing behind their product.1/4/2024 - Stephanie from MD Sports finally got back to me a week & a half later (not her fault) and now it’s not about getting the part into their warehouse now, but the part actually being manufactured. They want to call me back in 2-3 weeks to give me an ETA on delivery. Just an awful company who doesn’t meet their own deadlines or do what they say they are going to do. I am returning the table. Amazon btw says you need to ship the item back in the original packaging, which is impossible as with the staples and amount tape they use, you basically need to destroy the box to get the table out of it.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure why they have to use such seemingly cheap materials, but overall, for the price, it’s good. You’ll see in the picture one of the pieces of wood or whatever particle board was split. I used wood glue to piece it together, and luckily I had was able to use it without having to contact the seller or Amazon for a replacement piece.Pros:- works good, relatively heavy for stability, but not so heavy you can’t put it together and move it around a bit.- looks goodCons:- seems like materials are cheap, not sure how long it will last, but seemingly, If take care of it, it seems like it will last at least a few years, I hope!- you need two people to turn it over and set it on its legs. Assembly can be done by one, but you’ll need some relatively strong people to get it on its feet without breaking the legs.- it’s loud. The fan that blows the air through the holes is loud. It’s not so bad and you will get used to it as you play, but it is present.I don’t understand why they used so much MDF. MDF warps, it’s not great against moisture and you can see where they used a lot of glue. So far it’s fine, but I do worry about its longevity.Assuming it holds up, I think it’s a great product for the price. Me and my family are enjoying it.

Love the table, but will say it was very heavy to lift for two people. Turns out the box it came in was almost as heavy as the actual table. Very well packaged! Putting together was a breeze, two people to flip it over without issue. Great having the feet to adjust; had to level table for uneven floor. Table works fine, plenty of air flow to keep puck in play without effort. Researched extensively table reviews and cost before buying. Great mid range table. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

One month after I bought the table the scoreboard stopped working. We haven't had any accidents and I checked the wires to make sure it was hooked uo properly and everything seems fine but it just wont keep score. Also they give you black pucks with a black line painted down the middle so you will lose track of the puck nearly all the time. why wouldn't they give red pucks like everyone else? At least the fan still going so we keep score on a separate board.
