Pro Acoustic Foam Microphone Screen - AFMS Portable Vocal Booth, Reflection Filter

Pro Tip: Really get your mic/pop filter and your face in there! I use it for voice recording. When recording one project throughout multiple days, it's important for me that they sound the same. I can imagine that even if I were to move into a different room, the sound would basically keep consistent. This is for someone who does not have a professional studio or a recording booth but who wants good quality audio. Of course you have to use a decent microphone and audio editing software. I use audacity to add a little treble to my voice but it would differ for everyone's particular voice and room where they are recording.

Easy assembly, and does the job. I feel its easily subjective to wear and tear due just being a piece of foam, but its the cheapest sound shield i could find so its expected. All in all I feel it is worth the purchase

Absolutely brilliant value. Made a very noticeable difference to my vocals. Much warmer and more professional sounding (whereas before I sounded like I was singing in a fridge...)Takes a tiny bit of working out how to set it up, but a real good bargain for home studio set upI am really pleased with it.

Very simple piece of kit which has made a definite improvement to my vocal recordings. I can't see why you would need to spend more on a fancy one. Plus it is very portable and when you are very tired you can use it as a pillow.

Better and more expensive reflection filters are available, but for the price, this does a good job. I record in quite a bright room with big windows and wooden floors. I didn't want to spend £75+ on a filter right now. This definitely takes that unwanted, roomy edge when used for recording vocal tracks. Will try it next on acoustic guitar!

This works well for me. I have an Audio Technica AT2035 cardiod and am recording in a small room. There's a noticeable increase in boominess when I don't use the AFMS mic screen. The mic screen is easy to set up on the top of the mic stand (you screw on the mic holder to keep it in place) and it came with a good range of mic adapters to suit a wide variety of mic stands and holders

I record my voice at home and I’m quite confident this item has improved my recordings, as well as providing a little protective hub for you while you sing. It seems very expensive for a piece of foam, with a bit of metal, but it is quite a niche product.

Works ok but not brilliant quality. Good enough value I guess
