very pleased.
I brought this for my grand daughters 13 birthday. She is very fond of Lego Friends but wanted to try something else. When it arrived, I was surprised at how small the box was, compared to Lego Friends. However, she loved it. It was a bit challenging but she managed it within a couple of hours. Since then she has taken it apart and rebuilt many times, so the time limit is shorter now. She has asked for the Sydney Opera House for her next present, so she must like it. I just wish they had these when I was younger, and I would love to build some now, but my hands and fingers won't allow it!!! But it gives me pleasure to see her enjoying herself with her Lego collection.

Lego Willis - Great Architecture.
I am a collector of Lego Architecture and am aiming to buy the entire range over time. The Willis tower is probably one of the easiest to construct and the finished model looks great. I love Architecture and Lego but for some, this may be not the item for you if you like something more challenging. The Lego Box and comprehensive instruction booklet are both superb quality as your would expect from Lego. The booklet contains some great facts about the real building. Well packed and delivered quickly - thank you Amazon!

Very good kit. Absorbing to build.
This is a very absorbing model to build. It's a perfectly symmetrical building so everything is done twice and some features are repeated a few times. The repetition doesn't detract from the experience of the build though. There are a lot of bags of pieces and there doesn't appear to be any pattern to them, so it requires quite a lot of sorting especially in the early stages of the build. The finished building is a great reward for the time spent and is very impressive. All told it took me about 31/2 hours to build. Highly recommended.

Absorbing
I was intrigued by this kit - how do you get LEGO rectangular blocks to make up a triangular shaped building. I now know that you can by using hinges. The result is magnificent. As an example of the way LEGO Architecture can appeal to adult users the Flatiron Building is first class. So far, the four kits I have completed are perfect for the sort of display area that can be easily seen close up. They have kept me absorbed throughout a rather difficult time health-wise.

Fantastic!
My 6 year old has been desperate for the Lego Burj Khalifa for months. The old version is hard for find, costs £100 and is a bit rubbish according to the reviews. Lego have just rereleased this model. It is amazing. It's over 15 inches tall, beautiful when finished and well worth the money. My son is thrilled with it. He built it by himself in around 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Go for this one, wives of lego hubbys!
Made very quickly, happy husband! Destroyed by kids quickly, unhappy husband! I chose this because it was a happy medium between lego's high prices and the size of the product (when buying for an adult). It's not a bad likeness compared to the real thing. It makes a nice ornament too for when it's done. Kids will want to help, but it really is too hard for them, not to mention the pieces are very small. When made, it is roughly a 15cm square on the bottom and 10 cm high. Hold from the bottom, holding the building will result in cave ins! I got this for £40, and it took my husband an hour. He understands that lego for adults is very expensive, so never asked for it. This was a lovely surprise for him, and was glad for his hour of building!

Very classy but very beige
This Lego Architecture model is the equivalent of a coffee table book: to be built, displayed and admired. It's a nice compact size, measuring 4.7" (11.7cm) tall, 10" (25.6cm) wide and 5" (12.8cm) deep, so it would fit nicely on a bookcase. It's quite a demanding build in terms of concentration as it's principally composed of small tiles and plates of the same colour, but the beautifully presented spiral-bound instruction book is very clear and precise. The finished product is striking and solid, with its strong cantilever design and Lego's clever depiction of water, pebbles and concrete, although the overwhelming beige colour is a bit of a let-down. It would have been better if a second colour had been used to distinguish between the concrete and limestone sections. A unique feature of 'Fallingwater' is that the finished model can be lifted out of its landscape, and sections slide out so they can be looked at more closely. All in all, it's a very classy and adult addition to Lego's Architecture Series, though I would have preferred to pay more for a bigger model with more detail as Lego has done with its magnificent 'Robie House', another stunning Frank Lloyd Wright building. PS: While working on this model you need a couple of Lego Brick Separators to hand, to remove misplaced elements or dismantle it. The new small orange Separator only costs a couple of quid but is worth a fortune in avoiding manicurists/dentists' bills! PPS: Unless you're in a hurry, it's useful to keep an eye out for Amazon's short-term deals on selected Lego models; I was lucky enough to snap this one up last week at a very good discount. And always check the RRP at the official Lego site, to make sure you're not being ripped off by some 3rd party supplier.

Well, I bought this for my 9 year old grandson and he finished it in a day. Sent me pictures and was thrilled. He loved it and was very proud of completing it. I love Legos. My son played with them when he was a child and they still make a wonderful product. This series is also wonderful in the exposure it gives to children of famous international buildings.
