Crankbrothers Egg Beater - 1 Pedal

They look a little strange and I was doubtful about foot stability without a pedal platform. However, they are an excellent addition to my bikepacking bike. They take a little getting used of, but it is very easy to enter and exit the pedal and with a fairly stiff soled cycling shoe stability is not a problem. I have not tried to use them with a shoe without cleats, however, I imagine they are not very good.

These pedals are amazing, why pay more. They compliment my Canandale road bike, making it a pleasant experience

Strong and very easy to clip in and out , should be for mountain bike but i use these on all my bikes, perfect.

When I get I need to check if was original, and yes is the cheaper version of it. Way more heavy that the species one But perfect for a city bicycles.

Since I like to be able to walk without looking like a cow with buttered hooves when off the bike, I chose these. I’m happy enough with the versatility to use them on all my bikes, two classics (when not in toe straps), modern road bike, gravel bike and mountain bike. Recommended

Good looking easy to use, firm attachment and easy to release. Come with cleats so no need to buy separably.

メンテのしやすさ、耐久性、ちょい乗り盗難させ難い形状、４面キャッチがいいところ 外装に傷が入り多少サビが浮いてますが機能に問題なし ただ、キャップが樹脂製なのは心許ないので補修部品のアルミキャップが欲しいところ ビンディングじゃないと当然走り難いですが、はめてしまえばこの形状でも違和感感じませんでした

自転車の軽量化に有効なアイテムです。専用のクリートはシマノSPDの物よりも薄くて小さいので、自転車から降りたときに歩きやすいです。固定力は弱いです。引き足の力が強い人ならば外れてしまうと思います。4面ビンディングなので、どの方向からでもキャッチできますが、ほぼ軸だけの構造で、プレートが無いため、拾いにくいです。欠点もありますが私自身は気に入っていて、このシリーズのペダルをずっと使い続けています。
