Great speaker at the right price
There are tasks in life that are simply boring and music has the power to improve them. As most smartphone speakers are far from actually good, I decided to give a true to a Bluetooth speaker and one of my friends recommended this one. Good recommendation from him! When I’m doing usual chores, such as cleaning, cooking, having a shower, etc, I simply turn it on and link it to my phone streaming Spotify. Music sounds clear and can be very loud at max volume, so I even use it when we invite some friends home. It is very easy to pair the speaker with your device, both via NFC and via Bluetooth, so much so that all my friends were able to pair their own phone without me explaining how to do it. The Bluetooth range is good enough, allowing me to have it in the bathroom, taking a shower while my phone is in my room. It is not until I go to a different floor that I start hearing interferences due to being too far. Battery life is great. I use it almost every day, I’ve had it for two months and I have only charged it twice. The only thing that I’m missing is a button that would act as next track, as well as one for play/pause. I have not tried it on a phone call though, as I find it silly and I have never been in a situation in which me and someone else sitting beside me are going to talk over the phone with a third person. I managed to get it under 30 euros, which I think is a steal for this product. On the other hand, it’s official price of 85 euros is a total rip off.

Small but perfectly formed.
This was bought as a birthday present for my 11yo, who wanted a speaker that was good quality but small. Her previous speakers had all been much larger, so this appealed as it's no bigger than a Rubik's Cube. Set up is easy, made even easier with an MP3 player with no bluetooth. She finds the on/off tones very pleasing, but her favourite feature is the lanyard, which allows her to hook the speaker on her curtain hook by her bed. From a grown up point of view, the sound quality is excellent for such a small box, and anyone expecting much more from such a small device is clearly overambitious. It comes out very well in the Which report, and has got the thumbs up in our house.

Pair them or have them single. Stereo or duplicated sound, quite loud for the size.
Quite pleased with these little cube shaped speakers. I have a few Bluetooth speakers but these are not the loudest or most bassy, but they are cool as hell, gotta love the cubeness of them and the high quality finish. Sound is fair for the size, I bought 2 so I could link them up, you can select between duplicating the sound or having stereo sound with the 2 speakers paired, awesome function. Bluetooth connection was simple and quick to establish in the first instance. Great toy for anyone a bit techy or just if you like your tunes to be portable. Take the party with you :-)

Vaue for money
I looked around at lots of portable Bluetooth speakers and this came up on a few sites as a great budget speaker. It was a gift and I wasn't prepared to pay too much for one like the jbl flip which is a great speaker and one I would recommend if you have the budget. I got this on an amazon deal for £40 and definitely worth the money. Easy to pair up with phone and the sound is very clear and crisp. In terms of how loud it goes it doesn't blow your face off but it gets loud enough for the sound to fill any small to medium sized room. I didn't test it in a large room before giving as a gift so couldn't comment on that with accuracy. Its very small and will fit in the palm of your hand making it easy to transport with you. I would definitely recommend this for a low budget blue tooth speaker.

Does what it needs to.
I bought this little speaker to take away backpacking with me. I usually swear by my trusty mini-rigs but I thought they were too builky and heavy for just hand luggage, so I looked to find a fairly cheap, lightweight speaker that would take it's place for a month or two. I debated this, the JBL Clip, the new Bose Micro and finally decided on this one from Sony, my initial impressions were good. It paired easily, felt solid in the hand and the rubberised texturing is great to stop it slipping around. Sound quality is what you should expect from a speaker this size - I'm sure that offerings from B&O and Bose create a much fuller, more detailed sound but you also pay 2/3 times as much for them. As you'd expect there isn't much bass there but the mids and highs are clear enough, my only major criticism is the lack of volume - I find i'm using it turned right up in most situations. Overall you're not going to have a rave in the woods with this thing - leave that to bigger, more powerful and more expensive speakers. However if you just want something better than iphone / ipad speakers, dont want to spend a fortune and want something well made, lightweight and robust this might just do the job.

WOW! Great little speaker by Sony !
When I received this little speaker I was stunned by it's (small) size. "How on earth will such a small speaker play music with a minimum of quality and definition ?". Well.. I was wrong... Not only it's plays beautifully but also with very good and balanced mids, highs an bass. It seems incredible but it is true. 6cm x 6cm... How come ? It seems the manufacturer used a 3 speakers-in-one system that makes all the difference. The speaker construction is the brand usual quality and build. Sturdy, with no loose pieces inside or other noises when moving it from side to side. I even dropped it from low height (almost had an heart attack!) but it came out no harm was made. In addition, you can also add a second speaker to have Stereo sound. But make no mistake: one single speaker is enough to give you quality and loud (if you want) sound with lots of definition and presence. It is so good that I recently order another one as a gift for my friend birthday. He doesn't know nothing about it yet...!

Get a second one for an amazing stereo sound stage
I have one already, this is the second one I bought so I can pair them up in stereo mode. The procedure for the speaker-add function is very simple indeed. Just turn both speakers on, and press and hold the ADD button on one unit until you hear a beep, and then do the same on the other one, both speaks will be linked up magically. Now you can press the ADD button to cycle through different stereo and mono modes. Like with a single unit, press and hold the Power button on the main unit to pair up with a BT device. You will get a fuller sound with a stereo pair, but nothing bass-heavy like the Bose Mini Link. The same sound quality of the X11 is maintained, The best part is that you are able to place both speakers on either side of your notebook or tablet to create a perfect stereo image, the result is an amazing stereo sound. Even with two of them, the weight is still lighter than most BT speakers, And still very easy to carry them around. It would be nice if they are slightly cheaper.

Very good value small travel speaker
I put this in my bathroom for listening to music while I'm in the shower so I don't need to bring my phone in the room with me. It is very lightweight, battery life is excellent, plays for around 6 hours before needing a full charge again. The sound is also of high, clear quality, not that cheap tinny sound you often get from cheap speakers. The volume goes high too. Also, if hooked via Bluetooth to your phone, the speaker will beep loudly to indicate an incoming call. Very good value for money. I also believe this is waterproof to an extent as I've dropped it in the toilet once and it still works fine.
