Friends: The Complete Series [DVD] [2002] [2004]

Wowcha what great value. Fabulous series and the funniest thing to come out of the usa. Love it. RIP Matthew Perry...

I just got mine. I think the last new box I pay in around €150 for it But to get the Whole 10 seasons & 2 extra Blu Ray’s full of extras , I think I read somewhere it’s 800 hours in total All the episodes are in Dolby Vision, I.e - This changes every frame many times a second for the best picture possible! When you see 4K in DV it’s a huge plus over basic HDR This has DV and much more. I just got mine about to watch the first episode I’m going to update this with pics of everything, the discs the screen all details on the back the booklet the 2 Blu Ray full and what you get and more As it stands I’m over the moon. This won’t be made available again! They will be very valuable and collected by fans in the future. So I’m delighted, I’ll never ever sell mine But this is an investment plus you get your childhood back ( I’m a 90’s kid I’m in my 30’s ) I only got into in at the end of the 90’s when u was older but it brings back the best memories And with the loss of one of the cast. It’s so sad truly heartbreaking. So having this bit of history. It’s one of my favourite UHD movies And I have yet to put it in. It came in Perfect condition packaged was thought out, the box is perfect. Big deal for collectors like myself Like I said I’ll edit & add pics, I just got this. There is a copy going cheap But it! You can not get it in Germany Ireland the UK ( here ) France nowhere . It was shipped from France I’m just making the point people love Friends they sold out and yes you can get basic Blu rays but this is the 4K edition and it’s 4 times better than the HD Blu Ray & agsin it’s in Dolby Vision Much love was put into it. I’ll update in the next week or less with pictures. 100% I recommend it Abd from this seller!

The boxed set is as new, all the discs tried so far play correctly, there are no scratches. It was packed in a suitable box, arriving undamaged.

there must be almost as many column inches devoted to the show as hours spent on the telly airwaves. The package was adequate. the white box - in the picture - is pretty robust. all the discs worked - the annoying thing with a huge box set like this is that it could take a lifetime to find one episode that doesn't work. - I can't imagine many people would get the boxset and then go on some mammoth binge for days on end to check all thediscs. Each season has its own jewel case. with 4 discs each with 6 episodes on. I didn't try skipping to next chapters so don't know if that feature existed or was good or bad or what. I just put each disc in and let it roll. the quality was pretty good. I dont know if the versions I have are special or not - there was nothing outlandish on any of them and equally there didn't seem to be any noticeabe ' uh what happened there?' momnents. I said I wasnt going to review the shows etc but I am going to 'comment' one fact that never ceases to confound me. this series and practically every other long running series. I can remember the content of the episodes fairley well. What gets me is that I ge the sequence of the episodes all emssed up - and I am frequently aware of thinking' Oh I thought that happened later' ONE last thing. DO llok around and dont get he first listing you see - prices vary and even the same site will charge more or less over time. AND try to suss the better suppliers - I tried one and after a few 'dude - wheres mys discs' emails there was the 'we're having trouble with our suppliers' dance. culminating in them saying it'' be a couple of weeks if you want to wait OR you can I have a refund now. When I said I'd wait - they sent me a mail saying 'were giving you a refund...' You couldn't make it up. I suppose I should be thankful Igot money back and only wasted a bit of time. ACID TEST: would i buy this box set again - yes and from the last people i tried

I have owned the single DVDs for each series and collected as I went but decided to splash out on this 15th Anniversary Box Set. I received it yesterday and can honestly say it is money well spent. Not only does it come in a lovely presentation box but there are bundles of extras. 1) All episodes are the extended US versions which means some people who have the single DVD versions won't have this. 2) Each Series box contains 4 single sided DVDs which is a major plus. Previously the series was put on double sided DVDs and the labelling wasn't very clear. Now you get 4 discs per series. 3) In addition to the episodes for each series you get extras on every single disc. I won't describe each one as they are listed on the Amazon product page. However, die hard Friends fans will be pleased to see that you get some great extras such as my favourites which are:- Gag Reels from series 1-4 and 6-10 (not sure what happened to series 5) Interactive Trivia game An hour long behind the scenes documentary The Friends stars thoughts as the final series comes to a close. 4) You also receive a nice Episode guide book. The book details each episode with a description and pictures. You also get an additional few pages at the back detailing some of the more famous props. 5) The DVDS come with Dutch and English subtitles. My overall opinion is that this box set is well priced and an absolute must have. The box set isn't too bulky so fits nicely in with other DVDs and also looks particularly nice in its presentation box. If you are a fan then order yourself one today....you won't regret it!

La serie, poco se puede añadir de lo sabido. Magnifica, imprescindible. Y la calidad del Blu Ray merece la pena totalmente. Por cierto que pone que es la versión inglesa, pero viene también en español

Diese dvd-version hat die originalen tv-ausstrahlungen und entsprechende bildformate, was in den neueren blurays und streaming nicht vorhanden ist. Da zeigen sich große unterschiede. Für fans ist das bisher die ultimative erfahrung. Man sollte aber wissen, dass es kein 1080 p full hd ist und der sound nicht ganz super ist, aber das gehört zur originalen tv-erfahrung dazu; es ist schließlich eine alte sendung. Alles in allem eigentlich super deal

I was surprised when I recevied the box set of 21 CDs (one bonus disc with Documentaries, original script and producer's cut, ''The one with never-before-seen gags'', The Tonight Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show appearances, video of the Rembrandt's theme song). A booklet describing every episode and details. Extraordinary Set. I am just thrilled (I bought it as a Christimas gift to Myself!). I am absolutely satisfied.
