Does this catch huge spiders and hold long enough to take outside and down the path? (Huge meaning around the same diameter of a pint glass).
is the arm adjustible?
Has anyone tried this with moths? If so, is it any good?
How do you mount it? Id like to attach it to the bathroom wall, will the steam from the shower loosen the glue?

It's exactly as advertised, genuinely
Ok so I know all these reviews sound like bots but seriously - this thing works. Like most who get this, I have severe arachnophobia. But I also feel really bad for killing something just because I'm scared of it.So I got this, not really expecting it to work and... it works. Like a dream, in fact.Living in the UK, there are SO many spiders everywhere all the time. The same day my spider grabber arrived, I got to use it on one of those skinny giant spiders in the bathroom. It... it just works. I was stunned. I'm still stunned every time it works. Which is every time I use it.I grabbed a moth with it too, the moth flew away unharmed.A couple of things that should be obvious but weren't to me so maybe they help someone:- If you're a curious arachnophobic like me, don't tilt the device's business end towards yourself to look at the critter you caught. It's there, I promise you. If you look, smaller critters might sort of slide down to the wider end of the grabby part and be able to get through the gaps.- What if the spider gets stuck on the device? It won't, I promise. The grabby part gently folds the spider into a natural position but prevents it from moving. When you capture a spider, usually it puts a bit of safety web somewhere so that it can come back - that's why you sometimes try to set a spider down, walk away and it gets yoinked back to you. Not with this thing, though. Because the spider cannot move, it cannot make a safety line to attach to your spider grabber. When you open the catcher again, the spider just falls down. Then it walks away in a huff - it's SO unharmed it usually doesn't even run.- Also works on moths. I know I'm not the only one that fears them. The moth will fly away when you release it.Thank you, you absolute gem of an invention. Humanity truly has come far. No more guilt, no more fear, I even use this to relocate house spiders when their webs get a bit too much and I want to clean it up.Also it just feels really cool to grab a moth out of the air with this. Try it.

It actually works!
I’ve not had it long so can’t comment on durability but I can comment on how impressed I am with how it works. I’ve always had a fear of spiders but have been trying to overcome it, the biggest problem for me is when they appear in the house and then I have to work up the courage to somehow capture them and release them outside. It was causing me a lot of stress and it was taking ages using a feather duster and the spider would always fall off it and terrify me (and probably it too). I was a bit skeptical about how well spider catcher gadgets would actually work but after reading all the positive reviews for this I thought I’d give it a go. I wish I’d bought one ages ago as it really has been a game changer for me! I practiced on the plastic spider that came with it and then managed to catch a big hoverfly that got stuck in the window and was impressed that it was released totally unharmed. Then last night a huge house spider appeared out of nowhere and kept hiding under the tv unit, I had to leave it and go to bed but then needed to go downstairs for something and saw it coming up the stairs. Grabbed my spider catcher and successfully caught it, checked it was securely detained and calmly walked to the back door to release it outside a good distance away from me. It was totally unharmed and I was calm and happy. I am so happy knowing that now I have this tool to help me overcome my fear and it really works.

Makes me feel like a Pokémon trainer
I've been using this tool for over a year to capture all kinds of critters. I've safely caught and released big and small spiders, crane flies, bees (caught mid flight), ... It takes a couple of tries to get used to the mechanism, but once you get the hang of it it is a joy to use. I feel like a Pokémon trainer. After a few uses the catcher doesn't close as tightly as it did at first, but it seems to work like this anyway. Really small critters might not be caught for long, so have an escape route for release ready before capturing.

Great for safely catching spiders large and small.
The media could not be loaded. Great tool for catching spiders large and small, helps keep an arms length away - especially from the big ones! Has worked flawlessly for the few years I've used it, this makes catching and safely getting the spiders out of your house a breeze.
