I purchased three of these sets, one for each of my children's families, and one for myself. So far, I have opened 9 little compartments, and each one holds a well made, tiny figure. I noticed there are no seams that you can feel, and the colors are bright on the kings and the shepherd I have looked at so far. Each little person also appears to be hand painted and is heavy in weight. The animals are textured and are lighter weight, probably plastic, but are still detailed.Overall, I am so happy with this little nativity scene. I am glad I bought this and would definitely recommend it for anyone.

I absolutely loved this nativity set and calendar. My 4 kids played with the set and loved opening a new one each day. I kept the set and plan to have it out next Christmas for them to play with. Great for the price.

It’s absolutely adorable and I’m so happy I got this for the kids to have their own little nativity to set up. All the major characters are here and they’re lovely. When it comes to the extras, they don’t quite seem to match the theme. I’m not upset about it. I’ll just add them to the animal toys in the house, but they’re definitely not the same design as the rest of the cast.

There are about 6 pieces of this nativity that obviously go together and are made of ceramic like material but the other pieces are plastic like the little toy animals that come in a tube. Love the idea though, glad someone tried.

I liked the idea of a Nativity Advent Calendar. We were especially excited to share this with my granddaughter as we were placing emphasis on Advent and preparing our hearts for Christmas. Most of the pieces are super cute and made of resin or something hard. The animals are cheap and not the right size for the characters of the Nativity. We couldn't even tell what some of the animals were. We were not very impressed. If I had known the animals would have been so weird, I would have spent more for a different brand.Nancy J.

The figurines are nice quality plastic that lay in a Styrofoam tray that fits behind a box calendar with doors to open and reveal each piece. Day 1 is the stable. See pictures.

This miniature Nativity set is the perfect size to teach my 4 yr old granddaughter the story of the Nativity. The pieces are resin. So, I don't have to worry about her handling them. Great value for the money!

The media could not be loaded. My daughter is having so much fun opening this advent calendar. We try to guess what is in the square for the day and we're always surprised!
