dif-1S 2-Channel Scratch DJ Mixer with Integrated InnoFader

Ok, let's talk about the x-fader to begin with. The first version of the mini-Innofader had issues with calibration and bleeding. These issues have subsequently been fixed with a new revision, which is identifiable by the gold coloured rivets along the middle. Fortunately, the DIF-1S I bought has got one of the updated faders in it. I have not tried to calibrate it yet, but for now I'll take Innofader's word that all calibration issues have been sorted. The cut-in point on mine seems to be about 1.5mm which I find perfectly acceptable, although I might try and get it tighter when I have the time.If you have bought this mixer and it does not have one of the updated x-faders installed, I would suggest contacting DJ Tech and Innofader and asking for a replacement (instead of leaving a semi-literate, 1 star review complaining about it like someone else here did!).Now that we've got the fader issues out of the way, I'll sum it up with the pros and cons:PROS:- Great build quality- Good sound with smooth, musical sounding EQs (not harsh sounding like some mixers in this price range)- DVS mode (allows you to switch between and analogue and digital vinyl without unplugging cables)- Booth output- No rack-mounts so this mixer can fit snugly between two turntables- Both 3.5mm and 6.35mm jacks for headphones and earphones- Superb X-Fader (costs about £90 on its own)- Great value for moneyCONS:- Switches feel a little cheap (but they work just fine)- You can't monitor the master output on headphones- No EQ controls for the microphone- Poorly translated manual (seriously, why can't these Chinese manufacturers hire decent translators?!)All in all, this is a great mixer despite its minor flaws. In fact, I like it so much I might buy another one as a spare! Perfect for scratchers and turntablists who can't afford to fork out loads of wonga on a Rane.Anyway, hope you found my review helpful.

As expected

overall build quality is good (tank like 4 sure),,,,the mini innofader has nice feel to it does remind of a rane fader alot but with the spring in problem im haveing is with the cut in it doesnt sound as sharp as i normaly like ,,just before it cuts you get a slight curve and then it comes in full volume and i cant get the deadspace tight either seems like a huge gap .....ive spent two days now trying to calibrate it ...if i didnt have the fader problems and it cut like a innofader pro i would of gave it a 5,,,,,just a honest review and i wouldnt recommend one to be honest
