Unfortunately I've returned as not compatible with either the D800 or the D850. Cable incompatible with both models. On the plus side though, delivery very quick, packaged well, seem relatively robust, easy setup (on someone else's camera ha ha) and sit nice and snug when attached. Instruction manual not the best but operation easy enough to work out. Neither unit come with batteries. Hope this helps?

Excellent product at low cost. Fires most old flashguns( and new) that have a hot shoe or PC connection without having to worry about damaging the electronics of your new digital camera, generally off camera. So you can place the flashgun wherever you want within range of the trigger and fire away! Does not give the TTL mode on my camera but I manage fine with manual mode. The trigger also works as a remote, wired and wirelessly, on my Nikon d7100 without problem.If you need to fire more flashguns simultaneously the just get a few more triggers but make sure they are all set to the same channel. Channel selector is in battery compartment in form of four sliders.Just set TR on the selected camera unit and TRX on all the slaves. Can have great fun experimenting with many lighting options.There are a lot more expensive items that do the same job but this one is fine for me.

Works on the camera (Nikon), works remotely, good addition to the equipment for flash photography.

What a great product. I wanted these for my D750, i took them out of the box put some batteries in and i was using them straight away.... they are straight forward and easy to use for off camera flash, the unit attached to the camera set to TX and the unit attached to the flash set to TRX, they work perfectly, (no TTL). Just as an after-note when you want to trigger your camera's shutter remotely using these you need to have both units set to TRX with the shutter cable attached for it to work.If you don't need TTL it seems pointless paying more money for radio triggers when these are as good as they are.

Very well made item for flash photography and remote camera triggering. Very competitively priced also. Would recommend purchase of this or similar items from Yongnuo. Reason for only 4 stars is the badly translated instruction manual (and the Yongnuo web site didn't help), so resorted to youtube instruction videos from independent sources, so all was well, eventually! Thinking of trying to learn Mandarin!

I bought this product as I have a nikon D7000 and a Sony A6000 and I read somewhere this trigger could be used for the sony A6000. I took it out of the box. Put in new batteries and after finding the right spot on the A6000 hotshoe. ...everything worked perfectly. Haven't tried it on the D7000 yet. But it comes with the Nikon cable so should work. I'm just pleased it worked on the A6000 without requiring and modifications that I'd seen on YouTube! !

These work beautifully to allow me to take photos of elusive birds, e.g. kingfisher while I stay hidden from their view. I can set my tripod up with the remote on the camera and be quite some distance away from my camera in order to photograph birds.Althtough I bought them to use with my speedlight, I have had more use our of them in the above scenario. I would definitely recommend this product and seller
