Very lightweight and effective
I purchased this trap to help resolve the feral cat problem in my neighborhood. I wasn’t sure what size to get but knew we had a lot of feral kittens. I got the trap, read the instructions and was able to understand how to use it. I set it up with no luck. Finally I went to check on it after three days and I had caught the biggest male cat of the neighborhood! I was afraid he was too big and would get out of the cage but no, it kept him very secure. Turns out the cat I caught was already neutered. I took him back home and I was able to release him easily from the trap. I am hoping to start catching the kittens soon.

Worked Perfectly!!!
Once you read the directions on setting it up, it’s very easy to operate. In less than 24 hours I was able to trap my kitty who accidentally gotten out when the storm door popped open. She was too scared to come up to anyone. I just about cried when she was stuck in the trap. I wish I had gotten it sooner, especially when the temperature started dropping. But I have it now, just in case.

Poor instructions
The product is well made but the assembly instructions are poor. I to get online to see how to secure the rear door.

Really only one use capable
It works, but after trapping subjects the metal trigger plate bends and leaves it likely not to work.

Never Ending Ground Squirrels!
Have a few of these placed around my yard, since the end of June 2024 I have trapped 25 ground squirrels that have come from who knows where (I have only seen 2 at any one time). I strings some peanuts on some heavy quilting thread, then tie up in the back of the cage. The squirrel has to try to pull on peanuts and always trips the plate to close door. I have a feeling I will be having these great cages forever in my yard to continue trapping squirrels "migrating" thru my yard!
