Typical Silverline
Good piece of kit at a reasonable price. Unlike some reviews might suggest, I found the box spanner set to be well made, free from defects, burrs or loose swarf and didn’t distort in use. the Tommy bar is a snug fit (which is a distinct bonus if you are working in confined spaces and have little tolerance for movement before actually turning the monoblock nut (like behind a pedestal)). The drive faces are snug to the nut and the socket is long enough to incorporate the threaded bar of a monoblock. All in all a very useful addition to the toolbox and fit for purpose!

Good Access Spanners
Had to Change my Kitchen Tap, found these spaners online and they made the job quick and simple giving good access to the Tap's fitings underneath ( Great tools at a good price )

Does the job but not made to last
Literally needed it for a 2min job and doubt I will need them again but for the price and 8 sizes can't go wrong, always handy to have in a tool box for that unexpected time nothing but a box spanner will do.Only negative I would say is the metal is cheap and wouldn't advise trying to do anything up murder tight unless you want to deform or risk making the socket smooth.End of the day if it breaks they're cheap enough to be disposable.Would also like to see an extension bar or telescopic added to the pack at some point because even in a tight space the T bar is a little big and they're a pain and pricey to try and get on their own.

CHEAP FIX FOR SHORT TERM USE
1 / This set of spanners is sold at a cost of £5.47 as a prime delivery item. Prime delivery promises next day delivery to Amazon Primemembers. Do not rely on the next day delivery as it fails at least 40% of the time. (based on my 4 year member experiences) Thereis no reference as to the potential additional postage cost in regard to non amazon prime members.2 / The spanners were delivered in four days.3 / There are four (4) spanners in the set, sizes 8/9, 9/11, 10/11, 12/13 mm. There is also a bar for use with the spanners.4 / The spanners are crudely made with quite rough finishing. The print for the sizes are not well marked but are visible with closeexamination.5 / The holes drilled through the bars are just as crudely done in that 3 of the 8 are off centre. two are over sized.6 / The actual nut sizes are not as accurate as they could be as there is movement on both the 11mm and 13 mm sizes.I cannotcomment on the remainder as I have not used them7 / The bars are capable of doing what has to be done. I bought these for a one off job and that is what they have been used for.The set will now, in all probably lay in a tool box with sockets that go back to a time when everyone could strip and build carsfor themselves.8 / Overall, these are crude and cheap. They will do what has to be done in a short term use environment. If you plan to use themon good quality nuts / assemblies, or any thing approaching anything other than short term use, spend extra and buy betterquality equipment. In a lot of cases you get what you pay for, remember these are cheap.9 / I hope that this review has been of assistance to you the reader. Please click on the useful review button below, Thank you

Caution needed before using
Spanners do the job but you need to check them out before applying them to the tap retaining rod.The problem is that when the holes are punched for the tommy bar a small disc of steel is often still attached in place within the spanner. The minor annoyance of finding that this stops the spanner sliding over the tap retainer is nothing compared with finding that if you do get the spanner over the rod it will not come off because this swarf is now firmly embedded into the thread of the retainer. If this is compounded with having tried the wrong sized spanner you now have a tap that will not tighten and a spanner that cannot be removed. It is easily fixed if you ream out the inside of the spanner before fitting them over the tap retainer. If however you don't it can become a long and expensive fix.
