Quiet wheel for an active hamster

My girlfriend ordered this super quiet wheel as the original wheel which was included with the cage was very noisy. The wheel is made from very high quality plastic and is really nice and easy to clean. The mechanism which makes wheel quiet it is well made but it has a major issue with the bolt connecting to the wheel and the plastic cage clip and it looks a bit wonky when our hamster running in it. The bolt came off the plastic cage clip after just few hours of use so we had to return the wheel. Amazon gave us a refund without any problems. We decided to try again and bought another one as we thought that the old one we bought was faulty and the new one will be OK. Unfortunately, same issue appeared with new wheel. This time I decided to use a strong glue and glue the bolt to the plastic cage clip. Now the wheel seems to work properly and still very quietly but still a bit wonky. Besides, today we went to pet shop and it happened that they having exactly the same wheels for sell and out on the shelves. So we tried and check if those ones are ok. It appears that all 4 wheels from the shelves are same: wonky and bolts coming out of the plastic cage clip. I don’t think it is standard design came out of the factory like this. What I am thinking is that the factory had a bulk of faulty wheels and they just packed them in the boxes and sold them anyway. Shame, as this wheel surely deserved 5 stars in overall but because of this big issue I can only rate it for 3 stars! Hopefully soon they will make new fixed bundle!

Rather looking forward to this arriving as the wheel that came with the cage was very loud! It arrived in good time, and seems well made. We originally stood the wheel on the stand in the cage, but it bounced across the cage defeating the object of it being a silent spinner- however when we attached it to the cage it worked well. The screw has become loose, but it was a quick and easy fix and it hasnt affected use so far.I would recommend this.

Bought to replace a louder wheel that was keeping my daughter awake.This one is so quiet we thought he hadn't taken to it and wasn't using it so it was a relief to catch him o. It one evening.It comes with a stand but we attach it straight to the wire cage. It's not the easiest for but does work. Maybe a little overpriced but did the job we wanted.

It’s a great wheel! It’s so incredibly quiet! Unfortunately it’s Too small for a Syrian baby and isn’t really sturdy.

Purchased for our Russian drawf hamster as the one that came with the cage was so noisy. This one is much quieter, in fact I don’t hear it at all.. I’m wondering if he even goes on it at night! We took it off the stand as it didn’t seem very stable and have attached it to the cage, which is very easy to do. I’d say it’s a little overpriced but other than that a good purchase

I got 2 of the wheels for my mice one lasted 2 weeks, I did think that there was something off with the one that broke. the back spinner is broken and came off, so now my mouse has no wheel as it is too dangerous to leave in his cage. makes me second guess the choice of wheel to get.
