This little guy does just what I need
Although it's really not difficult ripping though boxes, I deal with enough of them that I'm tired of doing that & also tired of replacing box cutter blades &, honestly, tired of box cutters. So I got this fairly priced tool & I like it. I did have a VERY weird thing happen where the blade got on the wrong side of the guide. I really don't think it's the fault of the device, but me being too aggressive in my cutting. It ended up being a weird thing because the way it's designed I couldn't then just remove the blade because you can't remove the blade if it's on the side between the guide & the tool. I ended up having to take the tool apart, so that I could remove the guide, in order to remove the blade. Then I put it all back togther, popped the blade back on &, even though the glide seems square, when I ran it the guide quickly began to get on the wrong side of the blade again. I used a flat screwdriver to force it back to the correct side. Then when I tried again, the same issue. So I've obviously bent the guide (again, it really must be my fault from being way too aggressive using it). So I flipped the blade around, so the angle of it's edge is facing the guide. That seems to work. Now as the guide is trying to get on the other side of the blade, the blade is pushing it back to the side it should stay on. I really can't complain because if I really needed another one, I'd buy it. I think I had just gone to town on it muscling through way too much cardboard & bent the guide just enough to jack it up. At least now it appears that it'll keep working long enough to get my money's worth out of it. Now what I really wish someone would design is one that clamps onto the edge of a table, so that one may run cardboard down it, so both hands are free to hold the cardboard, but I like this little tool. It's a heck of a lot better than using box cutters. Also, anyone that's ever been inside of it has learned what I learned, the gears & their housing are a hellish &, if you are sick enough, fun little puzzle.

Effortless Cutting Power: SnapFresh 4V Cordless Electric Scissors
The SnapFresh 4V Cordless Electric Scissors have become an indispensable tool in my home. Whether it's breaking down cardboard boxes, trimming carpet, or cutting through plastic packaging, this compact device handles it all with ease. Weighing just 0.87 lbs, it offers a comfortable grip, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. The self-sharpening blade ensures consistent performance, and the included replacement blade extends its usability. With a 40-minute runtime and a 3.5-hour charge time, it's perfect for quick tasks around the house. However, it's not suitable for fabric or precision cutting. I also would not want to use for a long time cutting up cardboard shipping boxes. Overall, it's a reliable and efficient tool for everyday cutting needs.

Great product not for arthritic hands
I really wanted to give this a five star review however I found that there is a bit of a problem. I am arthritic and I thought this might help but it doesn’t not for me. The time it takes to manipulate the little black clip on the side that allows it to run when you squeeze the trigger it too hard for me to handle. The pain is intense. I thought it was automatic you know squeeze and go. And it does take a little bit of time cutting so I think a box cutter would do just fine for those of you that have no arthritic thumbs or wrists. I have a feeling this would be a very good product for you. It’s not a good product for me, but it’s solid. It looks good. It cuts and it charges very well.

Love this tool!
Love this tool. It makes cutting up cardboard so much easier!! Keep your fingers away from the end though, it will slice you. There is a case you can get for it too. It is awesome.

Works as promised. I love using it.
I didn't know that I could love an item this much. I take it with me to the recycle facility and cut up my Amazon boxes and people have asked me where to get one. As long as you're providing support for that box, it will cut right through all of them and is much safer than that utility knife. I've had it awhile now, and have yet to go through a blade so it has lasted well. I also have not had to recharge it yet. Cut up those boxes and it will save the recycle facility having to move in more containers more often. I've had it 4 months now, no charges and no changing of blades needed yet.

Effective for cutting cardboard
I've only used it to cut through cardboard. Compared to using a regular box cutter, this does a great job. Takes no time to cut down a large box or cardboard. Lasts a long time on a single charge. Easy to operate.

I like it, but it's not super heavy duty
It's ok. Great for most boxes but if you have a really really thick cardboard then it is not going to be able to cut through it. it is excellent for most standard boxes and most amazon packages. Cuts right through them into smaller squares that are easier to throw away.

Nice Light Weight Tool
This is a very nice light weight tool to cut through most fabrics, paper, and small gauge cardboard. It has a comfortable grip and well-placed safety buttons. It comes with a second blade, a charging adapter, and a good set of operating instructions. I would have given this tool a five-star review, but it does not cut through two-ply cardboard as used in boxes employed by Amazon and Costco. You can only cut up two-ply carboard boxes at the seams. Other materials are quickly and easily cut without much effort.
