Perfect
Bought this as an additional mouse to colour match to my large laptop/mouse mat and just wanted a basic mouse. İt is perfect for my requirements. Smooth movement and clicks nice. Can't fault. Really good mouse and value for money. Seems sturdy as I have dropped a few times while doing a balancing act with my laptop going to from meetings elsewhere in my workplace. No damage at all. Bonus that it has no wires and connects instantly to laptop on inserting the usb wireless part. Lovely shiny red colour. Size I would say is average as far as mice go but perfect for me. Not sure how good it would be for gaming as I only use for office work. Would highly recommend for office use though!

Wonderful
First of all it is a good buy I bought this with the mouse pad as you could buy them both together for £13.99. When my mouse pad and mouse came I was looking for the mouse receiver in the box and could not find it and then I thought what is this inside my mouse and found the nano receiver in the mouse which is very handy and very smart and clever as you got somewhere to store your receiver when it is not in use or when you are travelling with your laptop. It comes with Amazon Basics batteries I didnt even know till now that Amazon even did batteries with their own brand which is very essential and handy and I'm glad that batteries came included. It is a very simple mouse, it has a on and off switch which my previous mouse did not have a on and off switch which due to this one having an on/off switch that will save me battery life, it also comes with frustration free packaging which is very handy as with some products you end up tearing up the box if you haven't got the patients lol. However great value, do not hesitate to buy. Cheap, small and it does the job and is pretty simple! The mouse is perfect size for me I'm glad the main part of the mouse is matte black rather than the often encountered shiny finish that shows up dust and fingerprints! It is well built and a quality feel, I shall be defiantly buying some more Amazon basics products! I recommend! & if you need a mouse pad while ordering this buy them both together like how I did and buy them both for £13.99 which is a bargain in my eyes! Thank you Amazon Basics for making such quality products within an affordable price range, shall be buying many more products from Amazon basics! I am also a prime Amazon customer so I get delivery quicker rather than what a standard customer would get. Amazon prime is also amazing!

Amazon Basics Wireless Mouse for Laptop, 2.4GHz with USB Nano Receiver
This Amazon Basics Wireless Mouse is a solid, no-frills option for everyday use. The 2.4GHz connection is reliable and responsive, with no noticeable lag. The USB nano receiver makes setup quick and easy, and it works smoothly with both laptops and desktops. The only downside is that it feels quite lightweight, which might not be ideal for those who prefer a more substantial, premium feel. However, for the price, it’s a great value and works well for basic tasks.Overall, a good budget-friendly choice for a wireless mouse

Thinking about a Logitech mouse? This one is better and one sixth of the cost!
This is simply the best mouse I have used - priced at under £10 it's the best value item I've purchased in the last few years.Good points- instantly responsive- wheel to scroll up and down- wheel click (down or left) allows scrolling navigation in all directions: left, right, up, down and diagonally up and down- off button to save the battery- comfortable rounded fit to the hand- priceBad points- User manual doesn't mention the wheel click scrolling navigation at all (I found it by accident)I've used 20 or 30 different mice over the last 20 years. I moved to wireless mice (to avoid the frustration of the cable snagging) and then to laser mice (to avoid the frustration of a dusty, sticking ball). I've tried a variety of mice at various employers (as a contract programmer) and I ended up repeatedly buying Logitech for personal use because Logitech mice were consistently good ... that is, until this last year.In 2009, I bought a Logitech MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse (with a big USB receiver the size of a Sandisk Cruzer USB Memory Stick) and it was fine, scroll wheel and responsive. No problems. Until August last year when I lost the USB receiver. So I looked at the options and in September I bought a Logitech Cube Mouse (£60) from amazon. It came with a Nano receiver and it's a great idea - but it isn't responsive enough - move the mouse and there is often (but not always) a delay before the cursor moves on the screen. It's just like going back to 1990 and trying to use a co-worker's mouse with a sticking, dirty, dusty ball underneath ... very frustrating. The right click is also very difficult to use. After a few days with a lot of frustration, I bought another mouse from amazon, this time a Logitech MX Performance Mouse which seemed to be the latest version of my MX 1100.Unfortunately this had the same sticking-ball behaviour, not responsive enough and with a delay between moving the mouse and the cursor changing position on the screen.I was intending to return the Cube Mouse (because I assumed the MX Performance Mouse would work properly). But since both mice weren't responsive I didn't know whether it was my computer or the nano receiver that was the problem. So for the next 5 months I put up with an unresponsive 'sticking' mouse. Very, very, frustrating - particularly with graphics and CAD programs. Then in March I was browsing amazon.co.uk looking at Chromebooks and I saw a "Frequently Bought Together" item referring to an "AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse with Nano Receiver Black" for £8.95.I thought it was worth a try, and as I wrote at the top it's the best mouse I've used, much better than any of the Logitech mice I've bought over the years (all in the price range £40-£60).So I am now going to return the two Logitech mice that I bought in September. There's nothing wrong with my computer and the AmazonBasics Nano Receiver works perfectly.I don't know where Logitech have gone wrong, but the wheel-click scroll-in-any-direction functionality of this AmazonBasics mouse is much better than the Logitech attempts to solve the problem of scrolling right and left. Now I just need to save up for the Chromebook :-)

Basic quality.
Basic quality which would not be durable in rough hands. Takes two batteries instead of one which are inserted at an angle and if not pushed properly home the batteries can prevent the cover from clipping in. Otherwise it seems to work OK although only had it a day. I bought this when it was reduced so acceptable at that price
