Jim Dunlop MXR Script Phase 90 Pedal

It's refreshing to see a pedal that bucks the trend of adding more and more features, and instead focuses on doing one thing and doing it well!As a reproduction of the original "script" Phase 90, the pedal faithfully captures the classic swirling sound without the headaches associated with buying a vintage pedal. True to the original, this pedal doesn't add any modern features - there's no ability to switch between different phaser circuits, MIDI control, expression input, tone control, mix knob or input buffering, so look elsewhere if any of those are important to you. If you're just looking for a classic phaser with no frills, however, the MXR Script Phase 90 is a solid choice.

Having owned Mooer, mxr phase90 block and boss ph3 before i can say this is the best I've tried by far. This pedal really nails Eddie's tone on his first album. Highly recommended if you looking for that sound. Very subtle and effective in front of the amp, worth every penny.

Great product - really good price here too from the seller. Nothing much to say about this that hasn't been said... it is one of the best at what it does.

The script is a classic sound, I prefer it. You can tend to want a more in your face phaser like the block, or even more outrageous phasers, but then I think some of the best phased tones are more subtle, sometimes you don't even realise the phase until you hit certain note sequences...I have tried many phasers and this is my favourite but yes it is SUBTLE.Some complain that the phase is not ‘obvious’ enough BUT that is a bit of a mistake. You see some phasers are TOO obvious, the KEY is .... does it make your guitar tone sound good?This one does, yeah sometimes you still sound kinda clean, but it’s an enhanced sound...Bottom line it’s a great tone....The more in your face phasers can take over....

Great pedal excellent sound and build quality. Wish I had tried the mxr range out before, think I might have a boss fuzz for sale in the near future lol !
