Great product, but too light on the details
I used this in conjunction with a dot-sight when playing paintball this month. It works well to offset a sight, preventing the need to raise and center the barrel of the gun in front of your face. Great construction of durable aluminum parts, which I liked. The screw is able to be hand-tightened for adjustments without tools while using for short durations- also a plus. A screwdriver can be used to tighten enough to hold for longer-term use. The screw is long enough to undo and place the entire piece on a rail, without removing the side that tightens. I would have rated and liked the product better if it was mentioned how many notches on the rail to be mounted are needed to be stable. The product could also be better if two smaller rod-like extrusions on the mounting underside allowed for more than just the screw as a point of contact with the rail- I feel like it could teeter if placed about 1/2 on, 1/2 off on a rail. I would recommend to anyone who would like to offset their dot-sight, or to allow for multiple accessories to be placed on the same rail, such as a laser offset to one side, and a flashlight on the.

Does NOT fit the Tippmann A-5 paintball marker out of the box. . . but it can be modified easily.
This will not fit well on a TIppmann A-5 paintball marker because Tippmann has an additional raise which gets in the way of the the screw bar on the underside of the rail mount. The mount itself is solid, sturdy, and nice, and is GREAT if you have a regular picatinny rail on your firearm, however the mount just doesn't fit the Tippmann A-5.Update (Dec. 17, 2015): Actually, you can take a metal file and file down the locking screw underneath and it will then fit the Tippmann A-5 snugly and sturdily (you can file it half way down, it does not need to be flush. . . see photos). I recommend re-painting the exposed metal with some black spray-on Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer and or Rust-Oleum black gloss enamel so that the exposed metal does not rust as the post is steel (but the remainder of the mount is aluminum. So my former one star review is now changed to 4 stars. Note it took approximately 20 days for this product to reach me from China, but the product is nice.

Works great, no complaints.
Attached solidly to Windham carbon fiber upper, used it in front of my scope mount to place an offset reflex sight. Just ordered another of these mounts, going to ditch the reflex and place some Magpul polymer flip-up iron sights instead. Not supposed to mount a polymer front sight directly to the gas block rail (apparently polymer can warp or melt when you let off 150+ rounds per minute... who knew hehehe) but according my guesstimation, the additional distance and skeleton metal between the gas block and front sight would dissipate enough heat to prevent any damage to the sight. Guess I'll update if I'm wrong.Screwed on hand-tight, felt good enough but I used an allen wrench to tighten a bit more. Doesn't move at all, very nice mount especially considering the price. The crossbar isn't exactly centered on the rail from front to rear, so it will sit slightly ahead or behind its center depending on which side you mount it on, but only by one slot.

Mmmmm
Updated: This worked to mount my red dot at a 45 degree angle on my AR.I didn't even have to remove my scope to do it as this slipped right under the rear of my Nikon scope. It even came a week early! Can't beat the price of this, and it matches perfect color wise. It's aluminum construction, so it's exactly what I was looking for, however can't get it right by hand. 20 round and it was loose. Tried four times to tighten by hand in 300 rounds, but still can't loose. Gonna try with a wrench, buy will likely mar the color. For about $20 you can get a better one that tightens with an Allen wrench.

This allows me to use the C-grip towards the end of the rail with the light positioned for easy thumb access
I use two of these to mount INFORCE WML on two of my rifles. One of the rifles is used daily as a patrol rifle. Each is set up on the front of a 12"/13" rail system next to a flip up front sight. This allows me to use the C-grip towards the end of the rail with the light positioned for easy thumb access. The mount does not cause the INFORCE light to interfere with my flip up front sight. I have not had an issue with the mount coming loose. My intention was to buy this less expensive mount and see if I liked the setup and then buy a more expensive one later. However, both of mine have worked out so well I have no reason to try a different brand.

Does what is says.
I bought this to mount a tactical laser aside my scope. Unfortunately (and through no fault of this product), I wasn't able to sight in the laser at a 45 degree angle. Crazy enough, I know, but I tried it on both sides and all over the gun, but it wouldn't sight in.However, that doesn't indicate an issue with this mount, and I have successfully used it for a flashlight and other accessories.I have seen other lasers and sights on a 45 degree angle, so I have no doubts that other models would work fine on this mount. It is easy to install, and easy to use. The hex-head is cross-drilled so you can use an allen wrench from your kit to tighten in place of a wrench, which is awesome.

Seems a nice piece
I bought this to mount a red dot scope on my Hi-Point 9mm carbine. I got it first and found it attached well and easily to my rail and seemed quite secure. Then I received the red dot and it mounted well on this rail. Then tried the configuration of removing the 45 degree Off-Set Rail Mount and trying to mount the scope in front of my rear iron sight. I was pleased to find I was able to co-witness the iron sights and red dot sight so the rail mount was put off to the side till I find a use for it. That's why 4 instead of 5 stars as I didn't leave the mount on the carbine long enough to see if it would continue to hold, but I think it would.
