Hartleys Fully Adjustable Craft Table with Tiltable Tabletop & 2 Drawers - Drawing Board Desk

Great desk, so lovely not to have to clear everything off the dining table every afternoon. I particularly like the fact that it extends to 80 degrees, instead of the normal 60 degrees of most models. I’ve had to cover the wood veneer with Perspex table covering, as the veneer is very thin, and there was already a small black hole,(pin prick size) that I mistook for dust at first. I also fitted the metal ledge, at the front of the table upside down, so that I could balance box canvases on it.. At first glance it looks like the side table is set up for a left handed person, but when using the table in its painting position, the table is too far back for a pallet anyway, so I’ve had to re arrange things a bit, and have the pallet on a small movable trolley. The draws also end up difficult to reach when painting as the tilt mechanism brings the table top forward as well as up. Despite all the minor moans, I am very pleased with the desk. It arrived ahead of expected delivery date, despite may order’s page listing it as “lost in the post”. NB: my husband found it very easy to assemble.

ordered 2 of these as we have 2 artists in the house, really pleased with the speed at which they arrived, and good quality for the money.All parts were numbered and the screws, nuts and bolts were all shrinked to cardboard with the number of the part clearly marked. The instruction book had pictures and was very clear to follow, we put them both up in just under 2 hours including the stools.Just perfect for both of us, height adjustable and I like the slide out tray at the side.

There were complications with the delivery and my first order. There was a bump on the table top surface and a bent metal on one of the front crossbar. I contacted the seller SDE Online, about it and they send fast responses. I asked if I could replace just the parts that were faulty however they insisted on replacing the whole thing free of charge. So I had to get it ordered again and I had to dissassemble and reassemble it again for the new replacement. Nonetheless, I had fun assembling the desk.Apart from the problem from the order. The desk itself is satisfying. Everything looks fine as they were advertised and how everything should be. It's quite sturdy. However if the metal parts were applied with force intentionally, it could easily bend. Also, the metal coating can be scratched easily so take precaution when you're putting the desk together as when the metal parts come in contact they could scrape the coating off each other.

This is a great little desk which I bought to replace a huge drawing board which was dominating the room I now work in. It is adjustable to a comfortable level and took just under an hour to assemble.

Very pleased with this. It is hard work to put together, but if you do it stages, it's fine. The instructions are in picture form, and very easy to understand.The only thing I would say is, I would have liked it a little higher. Also, if you put it at full tilt, as I do, the pens/pencils may fall out. However, there are ways round this (be carefull putting them in the holes and weigh down the pen pot).All in all, I am very pleased. Well worth the money. Extremely useful (I use it nearly every day). Oh, and it looks really smart too. Very pleased.Almost forgot, the aftercare was excellent. I could not find one piece, so I contacted them. It arrived a few days later.

This is perfect for my 12 year old daughter (she's adult height/size) the top is easy to move up and down and the table is height adjustable which is fantastic for people of all heights. The storage draws are perfect for all her extra art supplies. The slide out table is a fantastic extra for either art supplies spare paper or even a laptop/tablet. We have no complaints at all and would definitely buy again and recommend to others

There was nothing that I didnt like about this........ assembly was mostly straightforward....,well ducumented and in combination with the screws ( on an indexed card ).....made construction easy. As stated in the title ,however, it would be best to have help assembling the upper and lower parts of the unit.My intention ,is to use this as a workstation for audio recording so I will be modifying it from the original design to add another shelf on the right hand side and not using the tool holder provided.Great piece of kit at an excellent price ........ well done.

Extremely well packed, items marked clearly, and instructions easy to follow. Assembled, (at a leisurely pace), in just short of 90 minutes, with two of us working on it. My Granddaughter loves it, it was for her 11th birthday, and sits neatly in her room, rock steady, and level, thanks to the very thoughtful adjustable feet.John.........
