This is one of the worst books on travel. The general suggestions for places to visit are poor as well as the details given if you wanted to visit the sites. No maps or details on the metro are included. I ended up spending $35.00 on another guide book and map when I arrived in Dubai. Do not buy this book unless you want to waste your money.

It describes essencially the main places to be seen but offers no itinerary, which is crucial in a 3days guide. It gives some tips on cultural differences and behaviour rules but I would have like it to go deep in this important issue in a place like Dubai. The public transportation chapter is not sufficiently explained and there's no map at all! Not useful.

There is just so much information in this book, it's surprising. Dubai seems like a wonderland that is continually building on its vision. I will e making my way here in y lifetime and wanted to get some perspective and knowledge early in the works. It might come sooner than later now. This book is awesome with visuals to paint a more beautiful picture. If you are curious about Dubai and don't know much about it, this book will offer more than anything you can find online. Solid.

I've been to many countries, but always wanted to travel to UAE, and obviously visiting Dubai would be a lot of fun. After reading this book, I have a very good understanding of things to do in Dubai. It shares where to go, best dining options, where to stay, etc. On my trip to Dubai, I'll definitely be using this guide to help me navigate in this remarkable city.

Not enough information to help me plan my first trip to Dubai. No maps or real sense of what was where, though there are descriptions of some attractions and some history. Had to send another order to Amazon for other Dubai guides, which did include maps and more comprehensive information.
