Is this drill holder easy to install?

Very! I drove the center hole into a stud and anchored the sides in drywall. Zero issues.

Will it hold 1/2 in impact wrench Dewalt DCF900

It should be strong enough to hold the 1/2 inch impact wrench,as it holds my Dewalt 3/8 inch drill driver, 1/4 inch impact driver, screw driver, and flashlight.

Will it hold sanders orbital or otherwise

Not sure. I use it for my cordless drill, impact wrench, screwdriver and flashlight. It is quite sturdy and could possible meet your needs.

How well does it hold a drill? Thinking about using it in a service van. Maybe add a bungee strap over the top.

They slide on and off easily so for a moving vehicle you have to secure them better than just using it hanging on a stationary wall, a tight bungee may work depending how heavy the drill is. If you have the battery and/or a big AH battery it adds weight versus just the tool by itself to hold in place in a moving van

Very convinient

Really handy power tools holder. Not too expensive. One of these holds a Milwaukee drill, a Warrior drill, a Warrior jigsaw, and a Black and Decker drill. So this rack isn't just for Dewalt tools. I ordered one more to hold the other my power tools. Recommended.

Works in garage, not in truck

If there's no movement, like in a garage they work ok. Fits most of the tools i have(milwaukee and makita 18v) but in a vehicle, mounted in a side toolbox they are too slick. First corner they slid off the holders. Build quality seems ok, with all the spots full it doesn't flex much. Will keep and use in garage.
