Excellent clock for people with memory difficulties. Mum had been in hospital for many weeks, and she was becoming a bit muddled between morning and evening with the dark mornings/ early dark evenings, especially if she dosed off at odd times, she would sometimes think 20.30 was breakfast time when she woke from an evening nap. This clock sorted that out as it tells you whether it's morning, afternoon etc. It can also be set up with multiple alarms to remind medication etc. It is clear to see across a room, even for 90 year old eyes. And is visible at night too. It was easy to set up and get going. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my dear mum who, at 87, is getting a little forgetful. It was dead easy to set up, and in a word it's brilliant. She loves it, it's perfect for her needs. Lovely crisp, clear, legible display. It's also quite specific in its reminder - for example at the moment it is reading 'Sunday before dawn 01.26am. That's good, isn't it? Recommended.

I bought this for my Mum who could never remember what day it was and could not see well enough to see the time on other clocks. This is perfect. It is clear, she can see it and to have the morning and afternoon on display makes it so much easier for my Mum to make sense of her day. Mum has a mild dementia and sight problems so this has made a huge difference to her being able to live independently. It also has a reminder for her to take her medication which is so useful as her morning is routine but she would forget her second dose of medication later in the day and that never happens now. Well worth buying and would definitely recommend

Pleased on the whole but the fact that the medicine reminder has an alarm whch needs switching off after it rings as well as a written reminder means that I wont be able to set this remminder as it will cause an issue with my mum as she wont be able to switch it off as she wont understnad what to do! shame it cant just flag up the reminder without ringing! Will just have to use as a clock and to help her know what day it is.

operates extremely well and provided a new lease of life giving confidence to an elderly person (not me!). it is clear and acts as a night light also from the kitchen into the hallway. If there is a power cut it will keep time due to back up batteries. much less confusion these day and big enough to be a prompt but small enough not to be intrusive

This clock was bought for my mother, who has dementia. I was reasonably happy with it whilst it worked, but after only 12 months of use one of the plug pins got stuck in the socket when I tried to remove the plug. It was fairly expensive for what it was, and therefore one would expect it to last longer than just a year. The supplier refused to replace the broken mains lead and when asked if I was able to buy just the mains cable, I was told I would have to buy the whole clock again or purchase a new lead replacement elsewhere!

I bought this clock for my 86 year old mum who is getting a little absent minded and not the best eyesight in the world, this clock has proved to be a real hit, its in her bedroom and the first thing she see's is the very clear clock with (most importantly) the day, no more do I have the, oh I didn't realise it was Sunday when I call round. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for anyone with an elderly relative, in fact I'd actually quite like one myself I may actually know the date then!!

Purchased for someone with learning disabilities in a care home on the recommendation of a member of staff. It appears to be perfect for its purpose, which is to help the recipient keep track of time and date so that they have a reminder of the routine of daily activities. I purchased it in a lightening deal which actually came up on the same day as I was recommended to get one very pleased with the item and will be placing an order for another one for use in my own home
