Not too noisy. Hamster was very happy with it and seemed to achieve a good amout of speed. Would need to ensure you have the space within the cage to fit it in. Highly recommended.

The disc doesn’t make too much noise, if anything i only heart my hamsters feed. It fits in the cage just fine and my hamsters loves it … would definitely recommend for a Syrian owner who struggles to feed a big wheel in their cage .

I bought the largest one of these for my Syrian hamster as he loved the smaller version when he was little. When he grew up I thought it was time for an upgrade and bought the 30cm one and he loves it. I do have to say, initially, compared to other wheels this is pretty silent (good because I keep my hamster in my room). The only issue I've had is that because the wheel is so large, after some wear and tear, the middle part wears down and the wheel starts to knock onto the base of itself and wobble around a bit. Unfortunately this happened to the first one I bought within a few weeks and then it was unusable. The second one, however, is still going strong so I'll update this if anything changes.

Ah, my Syrian hamster Ziggy absolutely loves this wheel. It's a perfect size to stop any kind of back problems and he loves zooming from one direction to the other. It is huge, so I would suggest a bin cage with the minimum requirements (80x50x50) or putting it in the 'penthouse' (the smaller cage with some of his other bits) as it does take up a lot of floorspace.Zig does like to wee on his wheel, which was a problem with the Trixie as the lining isn't very easy to clean. We're trying to get him to use the toilet (I know, toilet training a hamster sounds crazy but there's potty litter and determination!) but the wheel is easy to clean.As he lives in our bedroom, we do hear the wheel at night - it isn't silent. The Trixie is quieter generally but he just didn't like it as much. We're used to the squeak and I'm sure a little veg oil would be able to stop some of the noise.All in all, our little speedy Ziggy Fartdust loves it. If he's happy, we're happy (even if he does use it as a toilet....). 10/10 would recommend to Syrian hamster owners 💖

I have bought this wheel and the axle has already broken but not cleanly off just very loose so that you can move the wheel back and forth rather than around meaning the hamster cannot balance on it to run on it. I have tried calling the company several times but haven't gotten through and have contacted Amazon but have not heard back. The box it came in was too big and i wonder if this allowed it to be knocked around too much in the box, damaging the product. I also bought the same one a year or so ago from the same company which broke within 3 months clean off but i was sent a replacement. It's very sad as these are much better for hamsters but i think i will have to revert to a wooden wheel again as these are too expensive to repeatedly buy.

Unfortunately after a month of use it started to wear away where the parts join together, causing it to go wobbly resulting in a very noisy unsteady wheel

Amazing product perfect for my syrian!

Unfortunately this was too big, I bought this for my syrian hamster in his play area but it was just too big and he struggled to get it moving, I had to return it. The product was very nice though.
