It arrived very quickly with tracked delivery. It was delivered in a thick polythene bag, which was fine considering the rugged / strong nature of the product. The bag was easy to cut open with scissors. No instructions were required because it arrived assembled in its folded-flat condition and the legs just had to be pulled gently apart, which operates the leg stays, which then just needed gentle pressure to flatten them horizontally to "lock" the angled legs in place. I had spent a lot of time studying the product on-line, so I knew what to expect, and I am not disappointed. Indeed, I am very pleased. When folded flat it is compact and can easily be stored (my plan had been to store it in a walk-in wardrobe, but it actually easily fits under the kitchen top behind a plastic laundry basket). The folded steps will also easily lie on the floor of my car and other items can either lie on top of it, or the steps could act as a storage frame for smaller items, such as an electric drill or tins of paint. I haven't used the steps to do any work yet, but I have used other similar (borrowed) products, and I have tried these new steps in different locations both outside and inside the house. I am tall and weigh over 14 stones, but they are a very useable height, and seem to be strong and stiff. They are made from what appears to be high quality extruded aluminium pieces, and the steps have good big surface areas (comfortable for the feet) and seem to be attached strongly (using aluminium pop-rivets). As the product has a vertical face (one at either end, in fact), it can be positioned close to a wall if required. The product is very easy to climb onto due to the intermediate / lower step(s). In fact, the two lower steps provide a number of options for use of the product (both feet on the top step, or one foot on the top step and the other foot on a lower step, or one foot on one lower step and the other foot on the other lower step). The product is lightweight, easy to use and store. It could also be used as a seat (during tea-breaks perhaps), and could even be used as a temporary small table-top. I am looking forward to doing some planned jobs using it. It seems to be very good value for money (and with free delivery from Amazon).

Only downside I've seen so far is that the steps are not quite as side as they need to be for ease of balance. A little WD40 in between the top steps took care of the initial squeeks. Overall, compact, lightweight, feels sturdy and is functional.

How did we ever manage wothout this set of steps. Strong, very sturdy and completely balanced. We use this inside the house for reaching up for the loft ladder and top shelves and outside for cleaning the roof of the car. Easy and compact to fold and light to carry around. Best we have ever bought.

Changed design from previous purchase. This design is nowhere near as good. Very unsteady and legs feel like they don't lock into place when fully open therefore close over very easily. Wouldn't recommend.

I bought these as a step to get up into a motorhome bunk. They are light, stable and easy to use. Good value. I like them 😄

First steps received was gouged and scratch through insufficient packing which I returned and ordered another set but these were also received marked most annoying and disappointing. However, we decided that they weren’t as badly marked as the first steps so we reluctantly have kept them. These are very strong and an ideal size and will be very useful. However, more packing required as both steps received had torn packing and no protection that’s why they got damaged.

I had purchased a similar product elsewhere a few years ago which is superb. These looked similar but when they arrived they were not even the same as the picture and were not as good quality as my previous purchase. They were very stiff to open and close and the way they had been designed made the top step too narrow, and therefore could be dangerous. Very unhappy and returned them

Very light and strong. Just what I wanted. Slips a little on bare floors (eg laminate) so you might need to put on a mat or towel. Bought so that I can clean my own windows in a bungalow and work a treat.
