When you first see it, you think-well it's not ultra small. It's more on the same framework as your typical webcam. Then you realize that it's got a full range of motion. This little thing has excellent video quality. Better than HD, not quite 4K but for streaming and literally most other uses this is perfect. The AI function uses hand gesture commands. I had purchased a Insta360 Link camera previously. It was 4k and much smaller. Looked cool. The camera image was fine, but the AI simply was a failure. If someone walked behind the presenter, the camera would follow that "new" person or simply go into a sort of privacy, face down mode. Not good during a public presentation. THIS camera's AI worked perfect the very first time. It locked on and stayed locked on. It followed me from side to side and up/down as my gestures told it to. All this for 1/3 the price of the Insta360. I don't use this for a typical webcam. I use it under pressure. It is the main cam for public presentations to our entire team and to an entire Zoom/Teams audience of employees. It HAS to work. And it does. Really well. I mount it on a tripod and point it at the presenter. I have them gesture lock it on themselves and the camera takes care of the rest. I can't speak to the mic sound too much as we use the sound from a podium microphone into a mixer. But on two Teams calls the camera mic worked just fine-crisp, clear sound. I would buy this product again.

GREAT OPTION FOR THE PRICE.I tried out this camera and it is great at tracking side to side but unfortunately, it loses the tracking subject too regularly when moving up and down. I need to move from sitting to standing during long streams and the camera kept losing me during testing. After standing from sitting the camera would struggle to keep me tracked and I would have to sit down and go through the motions of synching the tracking again. If, you are going to be moving side to side and a further distance than 2 feet this will work well for you. I may purchase it in the future if my recording needs change.

First the good: the video quality is good and the AI assisted features work as advertised. The bad: it only works once, then you need to unplug it, plug it back in for it to work again. This is on a Mac - on Windows your mileage may vary.I had the camera replaced by Amazon, thinking that it could be something to do with the specific unit. The second webcam arrived and had exactly the same behavior.There is no support information on the website for the camera, no firmware updates and no e-mail address specifically for support. Wrote to the only e-mail that was on their website and got no answer. Tried to use the website chat - no answer.I would stay away from this camera, find one with a responsive support with similar characteristics. There are a couple you can find here on Amazon.Lesson learned: before clicking on the "Buy" button, go visit the manufacturer web site and look for: firmware updates and a support e-mail address. If you want to go the extra mile: contact the support with a question about the camera and see what their response time is.This one I will be returning.

I almost never take the time to write a review - good or bad. It has to be REALLY bad and I have to feel a moral responsibility to let people know about a terrible product. Let's just say, in this case, it's warranted. I have been using this camera to tape and online yoga training - just two people sitting in chairs talking, the yoga poses are pre-taped (with another camera thank goodness). It has been an embarassing nightmare - the camera has become the third star of the show! It misinterprets talking with the hands as an AI signal, zooming into one person, or just moving randomly with no hand signals. One of us has to get up and move the camera back because it just goes crazy. So umprofessional and horrible. I bought this long ago, but I wish I could get my money back.

I appreciate the unique design choices that went into this webcam. You might expect head tracking to be done with a companion app, but it is all inside the webcam itself. That means it is plug and play on any operating system or device, from Windows to a more obscure ARM OS that recognizes generic webcam protocols.The downside is that the lack of companion software means it will either do what you want or be a complete failure. There are no manual controls to turn the gestures off or upgrade the firmware. If it starts picking up something incorrectly as a gesture or a face and wigging out, you are out of luck. Thankfully, in my time with it so far, it works most of the time. Head tracking is good if you have the webcam at or above eye level (it can't pan up) and the auto framing is okay. I generally turn it off. It recognizes my head when I am turned 90 degrees from the camera, which is great. I wish the zoom feature was a manual slider to make it more useful.In terms of video quality, I would rate it on the higher end of webcams. Much better than typical embedded webcams or the cheapest commodity types, but still clearly webcam quality. It is decent in low light, but again only compared to low end webcams. Definitely good for game streaming or Zoom.The clip does not work very well on my thin monitor, with the weight of the cable tilting it. I wish it clamped on in some way. The tripod mount works very nicely.This is one of those gadgets that people will have fun pulling out decades from now and playing with. It is self-contained and worth considering among the many options.
