I have a switched outlet in my bedroom and have not found a floor lamp I like but in the meantime, I wanted a way to light the room when I walk in. This solution is working well for me. It's reasonably priced, I can use the lightbulb of my choice and it works perfectly with the switched outlet. The build is pretty solid, too. I have no complaints.

Works well for what they are, but they really need some kind of a Hanger because they lean a little bit and the light socket.

really difficult item to find otherwise. these are articulating pronged light sockets for hardwired light boxes and are essential should you want to run colored light bulbs because if you run colored light bulbs on the horizontal axis, the colored coating will burn off. Run colored light bulbs vertically. The days of colored glass instead of coated glass light bulbs seem to have passed.

Easy to install helped a lot the extension that came with the product wasn't long enough this help and was able to turn the fan I bought

This is so help full in my home as a night light. In conjunction with the rechargeable lights. I am ready for any power outages in my area.
