Wow!!
This book is amazing. Tamsin Vale is the female main character in this series and she’s a fantastic heroine. She’s powerful, smart and not afraid to use her powers and her intellect to fight for those who can’t defend themselves. This book is an introduction to Artemis University and you get to see the dynamics of how it works as a college. You're introduced to some staff who seem to take an interest in her, and I can't wait to see whether we're going to continue to like them. Mel, is Tamsin’s best friend, and is another powerful woman, who isn't afraid to do what's right, and seems to be a true friend to Tamsin. This book is everything you would look for in paranormal reverse harem. It's filled with some hot guys, although we still don't truly know who is in her harem. The world that's building is amazing, and I love the detail that Erin went to. I can’t reiterate more about how much I love this book, so all I can say is please do read.

A great little gem for the right readers.
If you don't mind reverse harem's then this is a fantastic book for you.I myself just prefer one male and just can not get past more than one. That being said I bet your wondering if this is the case why have I given this book a 5 star.Well this is due to the main character being witty , sarcastic , loyal and grown up for her years. This book has a great story to it and is addictive even for me although I just can not bring myself to carry on with the series. If you can however move past my issues you are in for a treat. The way the Author brings all the characters to life in her writing is fantastic. You really feel like you want to be her best friend.

A pleasant surprise
I really liked Tamsin and got hooked pretty quickly by her story. As an orphaned 19yo, she’s been through a lot in her life. Throw in some magical destiny she had no clue about and you get an interesting and entertaining mix.In those type of books you either get the shy FMC who needs so time to find her voice or you get FMCs like Tamsin : they’ve been through a lot, got their own morals and set of rules and most importantly, never again will they let anyone make them feel inferior. While I enjoy both, I’m glad Tamsin was the second kind. It fit well with her story and she was mostly being reasonable in her own way.Yes she’s violent with a short fuse and trust issues but she’s also fun and funny and engaging. I want to know more about her.I’m pretty sure this is a RH book but for once I’m not so sure of who’s part of the harem though I have some ideas. Hopefully the guys i like will be part of it and we’ll get to know more about each of them. While the storyline was good, there is a real need for editing as some sentences didn’t make sense or has missing words etc. Still I was able to enjoy the story and will read more of it in the future.

Hmmm okay
This series has been lurking in my recommended reads for ages, maybe there was a reason. The end left me feeling empty. No solid love interests, friends? yeah maybe on a shallow level. The actual plot is up in the air. Over 300 hundred pages and well we basically get 3 chapters of the plot.I read the whole thing, yey me, but no more.

amazing!
I have read and re read these books so many times. The storyline, the characters, the dialogue, it all draws you in so much you literally dont want to miss a single word. The story line is so captivating, it keeps you on your toes and once you start you dont want to out it down. No matter how many times i read it im still drawn it every single time

I loved it!
This book had been on my reading list for a long time, but I only got to reading it yesterday. The story was super captivating and unlike anything I thought. Tam is such a deep character that it made the story much more enjoyable. The author revealed bits and pieces of her throughout the book without info dumping. I loved the writing and the characters! Going for book 2 now!

Thoroughly enjoyed!
Some spelling errors but they do not detract or distract from the reading experience.Tams is really likeable and fun. The characters are unique and I found I was just as interested in them as the FMC.The story is fast moving without trying to do too much at once. The world building is a subtle masterpiece, I felt like I was learning along with Tamsin with no awful info dumps or spoon feeding. I will definitely be reading more in this series

Immediately drawn in
I am not a re-reader of books as a rule. I have now read the first nine books multiple times. (Yes, even book 9 that has only been out a couple of days now.) I originally read them on KU, but I had to buy them. Something else I have not done before. The story drew me in from the beginning. This is not a cliche FMC, she is not only physically strong, she is intelligent. I love the time the author took to show the learning curve of Tamsin learning not just about magic, but university life, having money after a lifetime spent without, and trying to trust and accept help from others in spite of having so little experience with either. I appreciate the details not being glossed over and rushed through, all of these experiences shape the character, and instead of being expected to just accept that as readers, we get the whole picture. I am equally grateful that the traumas Tamsin has and continues to experience are not treated as something she gets over in a few pages, the repercussions are dealt with throughout the series, just as they truly are in real life. Sure, there's a lot of suspension of disbelief, it's an inescapable part of the genre, but it's still logical and as realistic as possible. The characters all have distinct voices, even the baddies, and make the whole thing more engaging. I love that the relationships with her men deviate from the cliches too, that they aren't the insta-love we see so often, but also that they don't just fall into super easy relationships with no challenges, especially considering how much is constantly going on for everyone. It keeps them much more realistic, genuine, and relatable. The consistency of the story is huge, there are a lot of balls to juggle, and I am impressed Ms. Flynn never seems to drop any. If you love a bad*ss FMC who is strong but still struggles, is not simply perfect at everything, has a great deal of depth and heart, and is unapologetic about any of it, you have to read this series. If you love all things fae, dragon, shifter, vampire, witch/warlock, and just generally magical, this series has it all. If you love to read about strong women who support and help each other instead of tearing one another down, if you like to feel all the range of feels, and if you like to read about people fighting a corrupt status quo while striving to provide something more just for society, it's all here. Oh, and the men are pretty hot too.

Love it
