A bit disappointed with this purchase, my sister has the all metal version of these (random brand), it is far cheaper but the edges are so sharp its difficult to clean and they've been cut a few times. So I thought it was a no brainer to buy this when I saw it, same pumping action, no sharp edges, should be good. No. The milk splutters, it makes a mess and does not froth well and I'm only making for 1 cup, scared to fill it for 3 as don't know how much milk will come flying out of it. On the plus its easy to clean. But if you're looking to buy, stick to a well made metal one as it does the job far better.

Makes great frothy milk

Bought this as an emergency when my machine broke. Didn't have high hopes - but it's pretty good. Not as effective as a steam one - froth is looser and subsides more quickly - but the best alternative I've tried. Plus you can take it on holiday. And it's a skoosh to clean.

We had a nespresso machine b4 this which took up too much room and didn't heat milk to correct temperature.Thought we'd try one of these and couldn't be happier. Simple to use. Just put desire amount of milk in and heat on the hob.Once at desired heat, remove from hob, put the lid on and pump plunger multiple times till u get desired consistency.Really great product.

Love these, only enough room for one person's cappuccino or flat white, otherwise get the next size up. Easy to use, I prefer them as you get a super hot coffee, some of the milk frothing machines don't get the milk really hot. Can use on ceramic hob, electric or gas.

It's ok... but poss not as amazing as some reviews may lead you to believe
