While it’s not as fast as the SanDisk Extreme Pro, it still gets the job done for general storage and file transfers.The SSK SSD offers decent read and write speeds, usually hovering around 900 MB/s in my tests. The SanDisk Extreme Pro is noticeably faster, often hitting around 2,000 MB/s with the right setup, so if you need top-tier speed for heavy workloads, SanDisk has the edge. This is gorgeous—well-made, lightweight, and beautifully designed. It came with two short leads: USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB 3.0, which is a nice touch.It runs cool and silent, with no overheating or noise, and works at any angle—even upside down!I transferred my entire music collection from a massive, mains-powered external hard drive that weighed about as much as a donkey. The transfer took ages, but now I’m good to go!Of course, no drive is immune to failure, but the solid build quality and impressive performance so far give me real confidence. Great Value for money too. Absolutely love it!

This Portable External USB is the best I have ever bought in my life, it takes a few seconds or rather a few minutes to download anything into it.

The media could not be loaded. This is everything I want in an external hard drive. It worked as soon as I plugged it into my Mac Book Pro and was perfectly compatible with Apple (I don’t have a PC, so I can’t speak to its comparability, but it seems like it would also work fine with a non-Apple computer). I love that it uses a USB-C connection and that the cord can be replaced with any other USB-C cord. It’s tiny! So portable. Gone are the days of giant, heavy drives! It has enormous storage capacity and works a treat. It’s also completely silent and so far has been perfect for backing up my files. Plug and play, super easy to use. If you want a small external drive for a good price, I would highly recommend this one.

I was shocked at how small the drive was but the speed of data transfer is superb.I originally bought this to use as an external boot device for an iMac however I could not get it to work as a bootable drive on the iMac or a MacBook Pro. I was disappointed by this but its a great data storage device.To date I have had no success with booting Mac-OS from this drive as once the software is loaded, it fails to be recognised as a boot drive by the computer.
