The first cable I received did not work, but the seller quickly sent me out a replacement and that one worked fine. I plugged it in, turned the iPad off and on - and the image appeared on my TV. I didn't see any error messages. I was honestly suprised this works as it is such an old iPad. Very pleased!

Works very well and functions. However, got to be able to watch sky go and bt sport apps and the apps are designed to stop this so pointless in the end.

was not compatible to use not sure why so had to send back, my ipad is old so prob my fault.looked great though.

This product works as expected on an OHP but it did not work on my TV. Probably because the TV is a powered input.

I purchased this to watch movies and programmes from the Sky Go app on iPad. For when I'm away from home so I could watch sky tv from the ipad on a bigger screen, hence linking up to the tv. I get the error message saying HDMI output not authorised. So after playing about with it I've discovered it only plays movies from the videos app that I copied from the DVD to my laptop and transferred to itunes and uploaded to iPad. It will not play movies that have been downloaded through ultraviolet as it says they're protected. I will be sending this back for a full refund. Not what I expected!

Use this weekly to project my I-pad screen through the church projection system. Cable has so far stood up to the wear and tear of regular use.

Didn't work for what I brought it for but still a good product
