4.5/5 ⭐️ 5/5 🌶️You may think this is a typical single dad falls for the nanny story and I worried that would be the case, but I was wonderfully surprised! There is no woe is me dad, no overtly attention seeking nanny, there is Ford and Sydney! Ford, who is of course described as the best looking man around takes pride in being the best dad he can and putting his daughter first. Sydney is smart, knows what she wants out of life and isn't afraid to say. I love the tension and build up; I found myself reading faster to get to that 🫣 I loved that there was no second act breakup/rekindle towards the end (sorry small spoiler) and that it was a realistic storyline.The spice was phenomenal and perfectly placed within the story! Beautifully written and a fun story. Everly is sweet as she can be and is almost every little girl that I can think of 🩷

Marni Mann always writes books that you just keep flipping the pages on! I love a single dad romance and this delivered. Would recommend for a quick read and if you enjoy a spicy single dad romance!

You have instant attraction between Ford and Sydney and then the opportunity to become a nanny to his daughter arises and she takes it. When she agrees, he tries to stay away from her, but it is honestly just a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, and it does!!!The father-daughter relationship described between Everly & Daddy Ford is just adorable, he really does seem like the perfect father.And the bond Syd and Everly built was also super adorable.The three of them coming together was just a complete dream.

Loving this series. The novel came with a few surprises that resulted in a couple of twists and turns. Really love how Marni Mann writes and creates these plot and characters that culminates into excellent stories. Kudos to you! There is not one novel that is not excellent.

I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I thought I would. But I will say that the story was well written. And the fact that the MMC was so devoted to his daughter was super sweet. Who wouldn’t love that? But I didn’t find the connection between Ford and Sydney as much as I thought I would. I’m sure others may have a different opinion - just wasn’t for me.

Every damn time. I think I have a favorite Dalton, but a new favorite emerges. Every damn time. God I love Ford! And Ford and Sydney with little Everly? Talk about heart melting.I have loved all the Dalton Brothers’ books. The Lawyer with Dominick and Kendall and The Billionaire with Jenner and Jo. But wholly swoon!!!!! Ford is the sexiest, most protective, amazing SINGLE DAD there is!Ford needs a Nanny for his 4 year old daughter, Everly, and Sydney needs a job while she finishes her degree in teaching. She’s been an au pair for the past 4 years and with the encouragement of Ford’s cousin, she applies for the nanny job. Only problem? She and Ford hooked up once. After some soul searching and seeing how Everly takes to Sydney, Ford puts his personal desires aside and hires Sydney for Everly, both agreeing that nothing will go on physically between them. Can they handle this close proximity without touching…….or more???This book is everything. The Dalton brothers are prominently featured and Brett from SIGNED makes an appearance as well. The banter between Ford and his brothers is fantastic. Everly’s pink themed 5th birthday party with her uncles and other family is the sweetest ever. I also loved that we got some dialogue and scenes with the Dalton brothers’ parents! Ford and Sydney are an intelligently written, hot as hell couple, which I love. And Everly is absolutely adorable. No brat content in this story. A sweet, smart 5 year old who loves her daddy and family, and most certainly takes to Sydney. The nanny and child dialogue is smartly written too.There’s many hot sex scenes as we find in every Dalton Brothers’ book, but there’s also always a story….and a secret or two. Ford figuring out whether he can keep things business only with Sydney - his struggles - her struggles - all so engrossing. And Marni? You throw us a curve in every Dalton book don’t you. This one rocked me to the core. And I cried at the end because dear God that man Ford…….. just wow.Thank you for Ford’s story, Marni. I’m not ok. Total book hangover.

Marni, this is one heartwarming read. I don't have enough words to say how much I love it. From beginning to end, it is sweet, angsty and romantic. Still, it is so much more. The Dalton family dynamics are funny, loyal and everything family should be. The spicy scenes are steamy filled with all the good things you want in a sexy scene. The writing and storytelling is wonderful. If you need a story filled with a lot of love, this is the one. Enjoy.

I can’t get enough of Marni Mann’s books! It’s an addiction!I loved this sweet and steamy romance. Ford is a single father and super adores his daughter Everly.One guys night out he and Sydney see each other and have a sizzling hot night.But, Ford is a one night stand guy and doesn’t want anyone to meet his daughter.As the storyline progresses their attraction is strong and they can’t get enough of each other.I enjoyed all of the secondary characters from previous books. And this book just like all of the others has a happily ever after.

What a great read! We have been teased with Ford’s story in both of his brothers books and he did not disappoint.I loved Ford who may have a tough exterior but is deep down so sweet and caring, and an amazing father to Everly, who was cute as a button and so adventurous and adorable on the page!I love how dedicated Ford is to Everly, how protective he is, how her happiness is his first priority. Although he does take time for himself and fun, he is missing something more in his life. Something he doesn't see or feels he doesn’t need, even though his brothers and friends try to make him see it.Meeting Sydney did something to Ford, the two of the have a fantastic instant connection that caught them both completely off guard. The chemistry they share was off the charts from the beginning, but so is the emotional connection that develops quickly between them as well. The sweet moments they share were perfect and I just couldn’t get enough of them together! Sydney was a wonderful character, smart, loving, kind, hardworking and an overall genuine person.Sydney and Everly had their own special bond which I really enjoyed watching develop throughout the book!This was an easy, fun read and highly recommend if you like a good single dad, nanny, billionaire, age gap and lots of steam!Also don’t forget to grab The Lawyer and The Billionaire about Ford’s brothers! Excited for the next book in this series, The Intern, about Dalton cousin Hannah!4.5 ⭐️

This was such a sweet and quick read that I devored in a day! 🤭 Some of my highlights of the book:🩷The tropes in this book were perfect and so well done! Single dad X nanny, age gap, forced proximity… These tropes worked so well for the story being told and they were sooo good!! I also really liked the twist on the nanny and single dad trope in this book and felt like their history together really made the story feel original!🩷 Everly is such a sweet and funny kid and I love everything that she brought to the story! I love when little kids win your heart over in books, and she definitely won my heart!🩷 I quite liked our FMC Sydney! I love her big heart and how passionate she is about children! I loved the way she was with Everly! I would have liked to learn a bit more about her, but she was the perfect FMC for this story!🩷 I really loved our hero Ford! He was rich and handsome, but he also had the biggest heart which is what I love most in heroes! The way he was with Everly made my heart melt, and I love the love he had for Sydney. I love how fast and hard he fell for her!🩷 I really enjoyed the story! It was a fairly simple story but it was so well written, and there was no third act breakup, but another twist that I didn’t see coming that I really enjoyed! Everything worked really well together in this book!4.25⭐️

Ford was everything I wanted. Sexy, hot, sweet. There's nothing better than a book about a single dad loving his daughter and ruling the bedroom. Ford was no exception. And I should add that there was no separation in Act 3. Ford and Sydney were mature and such a breath of fresh air. He is the most sensitive and approachable sibling of the three. There may be something about the way a man takes care of his daughter that makes the story more believable, but this one was by far the favorite of her three siblings! I loved her too because she is so confident in her life. The spicy scenes certainly give what they need to give, but this was definitely what the story was for!
