Great watch for W10 Phones - new features coming
Great stylish watch with incredible battery life. Reliable, splash proof and compatible with iOS, Android AND Windows Phone. Currently with W10 the health data is stored within the Vector Watch's own applicable, but Vector have promised MS Health support and additional features to match the other platforms are coming soon - if they were hear now, I would be giving this 5 stars. Notifications work well, but looking forward to the v1.3 improvements to enable better notification reading. Looks like a real watch - just smarter!

a smart watch that has a battery life of 30 days
I have tested Vector Watch Luna and i must say that it is exactly what it states to be: a smart watch that has a battery life of 30 days. A friend of mine was in contact with the Vector Watch team so i had the opportunity to test a watch of choice for 10 days. I really liked the app and also the design and i could get used to smart watch features. It worked ok with Google Nexus 5.

Different and worth a look for sure
I'll start by stating my bias. I am a mechanical watch fan. I have two Breitling watches and love them. I am also a gadget fan and always buy the lates kit. Now onto the review.I have owned a lot of smart watches in search of the perfect replacement for my classic wrist watch. I've had the first gen Moto 360, the stainless steal Apple Watch, the Microsoft Band, the Galaxy Gear S2 Classic and now the Vector Luna. The Vector is the least "Smart" of all the watches and that is why it took me until now to buy one. I was sold on the dream of a computer on my wrist. The reality was that they didn't deliver that dream and I soon learnt that I didn't even want it if they had. I want the following from my smart watch...1) It has to look like a real watch. I love wearing my mechanical watches and keep being drawn back to them. I don't want my watch to look like a geeky tech device.2) The battery needs to last a minimum of a week. I travel on business enough that I'd like to not have to bring another charger that needs a foreign plug adaptor. Even more important is that I go to parties and crash at friends' houses. I like to do that spontaneously and still have a working watch in the morning, or at the end of a weekend.3) The face has to be always on. I thought the Motorola 360 and Apple watch were fine without it. I got used to it. The Gear S2 (and the Vector is even better) reminded me that I look at my watch without making an exaggerated arm movement. I sometimes glance at it without moving my arm at all.4) I need very few apps. Timers, alarms, world clocks, agenda and calendar is about all I need. I don't even really need email or messages. As long as I get my notifications, I don't really need to send messages. Everything else is better done on the phone I still have in my pocket.5) I really can't go back to not having notifications on my wrist. It allows me to instantly know if the buzz my phone just made is important or can be ignored. It also means I can silence my phone and only I know when I get a call or message. It seems wrong to have my phone ring or beep aloud now.6) Strange one this, I don't want a touch screen. On all the touch screen watches I've owned I am always actioning it by accident. I cross arms and press thins unintentionally. I find it means I'm always conscious of trying to avoid it. It means I can't fully relax. I didn't realise just how much it affected me until I went back to Breitling for a bit. I kept catching myself adjusting not to touch the screen... when I didn't have to! The screens are all so small you hardly benefit from them anyway. The Apple Watch has the digital crown and the Gear the bezel. I don't need or want a touch screen.7) Doesn't glow like a mobile screen. There are times where it comes in handy, I'll admit that, but most of the time I don't want my wrist lighting up. Because it happens so often with movement it is actually quite noticeable. My classic watches don't glow like that and I've never struggled. The Vector has an indiglo type feature that is invisible in day light and only just bright enough to read the display in the dark. It also only comes on when you press the buttons. That works perfectly. For the above points the Vector is the best smart watch I've owned. It has similarities with the Pebble in that its screen is monochrome and lower resolution than the retina displays on modern devices. I'd love it to be colour and hi res but not at the expense of my points above. As a total package it does everything I need from a smart watch and looks the most like a real watch by a long way. Really a great device. And because it works on all the three main platforms, iOS, Android and Windows, I can change phone and keep my watch. Don't write it off because it isn't a small phone on your wrist. It's better for not being that. Give it a try.

The autonomy and the style are awesome! This product is the best
The smartwatch is the mother of all smartphone accessories. It can tell the time, of course, but it can also beam important notifications straight to your wrist, and run native apps.Vector Luna is the father of all smartwatches. The autonomy and the style are awesome! This product is the best.

Highly recommended gadget!
Top quality watch, very good functionality, you very good battery life. The software still can be improved, it disconects with the mobile phone every second day, but this i found with all the smartwatches that i've used so far

Avoid
I bought the Vector Luna, with great anticipation of a smart watch that worked across all platforms (IOS, Android, Windows Phone) and had subtle, smart functionality (tilt wrist to read notifications, see calendar appointments cleverly displayed around the watch dial - just like you see on the pictures advertising the watch). I am VERY disappointed. Much of the functionality does not work properly (The Apps, the calendar synching and appointment display), many of the features that do work are clumbsy and not well finished. The Apps (like BBC News) don't work or are useless (eg. don't update, display display only a few characters... not even a full headline). Although the watch has a 30 day battery life (which it does achieve) and is water resistant, it hardly works as described and I would strongly advise you to AVOID it. I have an expensive, annoying digital watch. (If you really want one, I can sell you a used one cheap).
