A Stone cold classic no two ways about it This is Mazzer best album it combines the the last two albums together in an almost perfect combination of industrial blazz and acousticy glam rock dramaticism. The cover is largely offensive to lots of people the lyrics equally so but this is an album with a much deeper thoughtful message than is given credit for the only reason for the offensiveness is because it upsets the higher ups. giving it more commercial ness there by selling more copies and spreading his message more. PErfect the album contains a number of mazzer hits like Disposable teens. Nobodies and fight song but there are some other really good songs , Evolution is a good one it is a rather symplistic song with a constant un wavering beat anf guitar riff but mazzers vocals over the top are really catchy and stay stuck in the mind. there are a load of others. Again te album is perhaps a bit long at 60+ minutes but it is pretty good

I got this as a birthday present from my mum and I'm really happy with it. It's a good CD to listen to and I would recommend this to anyone.

Of the older stuff, my fave album (older being the anti religion shock rock type stuff, then his Dita phase of Golden Age/ EMDM, High End, then his later bluesy stuff), and it really makes you see why he was so highly thought of by his fans. Amazing lyrics, bitchin' riffs and tunes, and proper old school Manson attitude.

This is another great album by Manson, the first one I got was Lest We Forget though which is better but still it's amazing. Having had alot of the number ones on it on Lest We forget I thought I had the most of it but I was wrong. There were still awesome tracks on it like Coma Black The Death Song, Crucifiction in Space, Lamb of God and the bonus acoustic track of The Nobodies which was ok. Anyway listening to this album has become part of my daily routeen and if you are a Manson fan it is an essential. Anyway I would say buy it if you like the tracks you have heard so far on.

One of the most inteligent albums ever made, Holy Wood is Manson's answer to the media point-fingering to him at the Columbine Shootings. A very deep conceptual album with lots of depht musically, lyrically and artistically, Holy Wood is the best mix of art, social commentary and entertainment in popular music history

Not bad

No doubt an amazing album. The first time I listened to it I was not sure. Now it has become my favourite.

Real Deal.

I love the album and I have a copy from the original print which is old and damaged so Idecided to buy a new one. In comparison the quality of the print is not as good as the original one and I was disappointed to see that for some kind of error during printing or design, the cards in the back are cut on the edges, you notice it because the white edge is missing or cut. I have the original so I can compare to how it's suppoused ot be and the orignial print does not have the images cropped.

This is probably one of Manson's best works to date. It seems that he was going for a dark tone in Antichrist, then he seemed to switch over to a lighter - although still Manson-like - brand of music with Mechanical Animals. Finally, with Holy Wood, he puts the finishing touches (or is it the beginning touches?) on a projected - and, frankly, confusing - trilogy he started before he was blamed for Columbine. It has some fantastic tracks on it, as well as a few that probably would've made the album better if they were kept off it. Ultimately, the only downfall this album has is its length. I find that, after listening to this album in its entirety, I get bored because it's so long. That being said, however, it's still one of the crowning achievements of Marilyn Manson. Plus, it probably has the most blasphemy/controversy, which really gets everyone thinking about what they believe and challenging everything. It's great!
