I have been using this product from H&R Block for years to do my taxes. It’s easy, and you actually learn a lot about taxes by using it.

I've used this program since before H&R Block bought them. It has progressively gotten worse over the years. Never as bad as this year.I installed it on my M1 Mac and it worked fine until I got to entering interest income. It will crash every time I try to finish entering interest income. Even if I bypass interest income it still crashes. THIS IS BOTH WITH AND WITHOUT THE LATEST UPDATE INSTALLED!I contacted their UTTERLY USELESS chat. It's a chatbot, and it gets stuck in a loop asking the same questions over and over again. After multiple requests for a human it finally switched me to what is supposed to be a human, but she got stuck in the same routine. Finally she suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the program. H&R Block obviously could care less if I get my moneys worth.Guess what? It still crashes in the same place every time and the alleged human had nothing more to offer. Now I'm stuck with a worthless non-working piece of software that I cannot use. At least I can complain to the NY Attorney Generals Office about it. Maybe she can slap them with an enormous fine, but my money is wasted and I doubt Amazon will refund it.DO NOT BUY IF YOU USE A MAC! H&R Block doesn't care about the product and will not fix it.

I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to file my taxes myself but the step by step aid with this software was seamless. Worked great!

I have used this for 20 years and it keeps track of everything in my vacation rental. Had a problem with downloading a free state program - had to get assistance that solved the problem.

My wife always did the taxes, and always used this software. I lost her over the summer and I was very worried about how to do the taxes. And of course what the end result would be. I found it tedious, yes, but able to get through the chore with the help of this software and its mostly helpful insights. There are things that aren't quite defined enough to be 100% sure, and I had a glitch whereas it was doing a final review and had issues with a couple of things, but said they were just things to double check. Once double checked, they stayed up as a warning. Anyway, long before I file, I'm going to have someone who knows taxes come take a peek and let me know what they think. Hopefully I did it right, seems right, and I would recommend this software as my wife did.

I have been using H&R Block Tax Software for many years now, but this year's version is the worst I have ever seen. First off, the product does not work for Mac at all, despite the company claiming that it does. This caused me to waste my money on a product that I couldn't even use.To make matters worse, there is no customer service available to assist with issues like this. I was unable to get any help or support from the company, leaving me to figure out the problem on my own.As if that wasn't bad enough, the software itself is incredibly buggy. It randomly destroyed my return file, which I had to spend hours re-creating. The program doesn't save properly either, causing me to lose important information and data.I'm extremely disappointed that I lost $55 on a product that was completely useless to me. To top it all off, there is no money-back option available, so I'm out of luck. I will not be using H&R Block Tax Software again and would caution anyone considering it to look elsewhere. This software is a waste of time and money, and H&R Block has lost another client.

I have been using this product for years. I am using it for the Mac for the last few years. As a software package, it has done its job. As others have pointed out, the download process cane a little confusing. I have attempted to E-file every year and it has never been successful which caused me to file on paper. Right now, I have submitted the return on E-file but I have no way of knowing whether it has gone through or what the status is. If nothing happens in the next few days, I will submit the return on paper. I would like to know what the experiences of others who have been able to e-file has been.

It works as well as any of the programs. A glitch or two with some odd deductions that I have, but I was able to power through.
