So far I'm very happy with this product. I found it by accident while searching for a natural curly leave in. I love that it doesn't have toxic ingredients, I love the pouch, I will cut this bag open when it's empty and get every ounce out! Lol I like the scent too - to me it's subtle, I don't smell much vanilla, more of the jasmine. I love that it's not synthetic fragrances! It's like an earthy floral scent, reminds me of Hawaiian flowers. The ingredients are awesome! I have long, very frizzy naturally curly hair, and it glides very easily through my tangled hair. My hair feels soft, moisturized after using it, however for my hair type I need more oil to tame my frizz, define my curls so I will have to use an oil along with the rice pudding. But if you don't have coarse frizzy hair like me this product alone will have your hair looking, feeling good (my photos are of my hair tamed from having it braided, it's usually more unruly). Not cons but after 1 use, because of my hair length and thickness about 25% of the cream was used, it will definitely not last me 3 months(I keep in the refrigerator anyway though). I will order more in the future because of the ingredients, but probably not as often as I want because of price, size. Overall, I do recommend and I'll be a repeat Ecoslay customer, can't wait to try the other products!

Love this product. Works like a dream to give tresses definition and shine. But for maximum integrity, I had to keep it somewhere very cool to keep it from becoming too slimy (I live in the tropics),

I have sought after a simple, clean, non stripping hair care system for awhile and I believe I have found my answer w Ecoslay. I used to have beautiful, thick, long hair until I had Covid. I got really sick from it, lost a great deal of all my hair. On the rebound I tried everything to regain my hair back. Nothing was working. My daughter in law had been using Ecoslay products for several months and her hair was just gorgeous. So I thought, why not. I have been using it for about 2 months and am loving it. The scent, amazing, I have noticed growth finally, its becoming soft again...Keeping it in the frig is a little annoying, but honestly, I would rather do that then the waste that comes from the plastic bottles regular shampoo and conditioner come in. I have all my products in ball jars. I recommend there products to anyone.

My first purchase of this product was as a small sample bottle directly from EcoSlay, and I didn't have high hopes because typically any product with protein overwhelms my fine, wavy/curly hair, making it stiff and heavy. However, the rice water in this product (the protein ingredient) works VERY well for my hair! I was shocked, in a good way. Something about this form of protein isn't too heavy for my fine, low-porosity hair. It helps my curls to form better, which I love. And it pairs nicely with my go-to Kinky Curly Curling Custard. The only negative for me is the strong floral fragrance (it's a very natural jasmine scent, but strong). A lot of people seem to love it, but I'm rarely a fan of floral fragrance, so this is a bummer. When I think "rice pudding", I think sweet, nutty, vanilla-y, gourmand... not flowers. I'll keep using it because it works so well, but I hate how my hair smells. The jasmine overpowers my other products, most definitely, and doesn't blend well with them, fragrance-wise. *EDIT, 2024 - I STOPPED USING THIS PRODUCT IN COMBINATION WITH KINKY CURLY CUSTARD AND I NO LONGER HATE THE SMELL! I NOW USE IT WITH ECOSLAY ORANGE MARMALADE GEL OR CAMILLE ROSE CURL MAKER GEL, BOTH OF WHICH HAVE ALMOST NO FRAGRANCE, AND THE JASMINE-Y SMELL OF THE RICE PUDDING ON ITS OWN IS ACTUALLY KIND OF NICE!
