If It Ain't Woke, Don't Fix It

Silencing The Majority
From Creators.com and the back cover: We all know 2021 and 2022 have been hard on Americans, and the radical Left hasn’t missed a single opportunity to scold everyday Americans who don’t subscribe to an ideology that inaccurately brands itself as the vanguard of social justice. In this collection of syndicated columns, Ben Shapiro expertly refutes the fictions the Left depends on to survive. From demonizing dissent to outright lying, this collection compiles the greatest sins of the pious Left—and gives conservatives the tools to fight back.To me, it's a chronological collection of events and opinions from essentially, January 6, 2021 to the end of September, 2022, regarding the social construct currently in vogue, by the left, by the media and by the democrats regarding demonizing dissent, minimizing free speech and bending the truth to their will.

Important book, but bad delivery
I'm a conservative that is sad to see the state our nation is in when it comes to the polarization of our people. While I agree with much of what Ben says in all his podcasts and writing, I feel that the conservative movement, as well as the progressive movement, refuse to find common ground on anything and simply resort to attacking the other side of the aisle. The daily wire and young turks are two sides of the same coin to me. Both are essentially spokespeople for their respective ideology, and do little to try to create unity.Woke culture has definite issues with it, no doubt. But I think the better question to ask is, "why do people believe in its principles?" One issue I have (and I think we all have) with politics at the moment is that it's an "us vs. them" mentality. In this book, I think Ben does a good job at showing the glaring illogical positions of those who claim to be woke, but does little to ask why they think the way they do.If we really want to come together as a nation, we have to start looking at things from the other point of view, in order to get a better understanding of why they think the way they think.

One of the most important topics of our time
I know some people think that some of these topics are fairy tales, but some of them are near soon possibilities. Currently the left is hard at work at destigmatizing pedophiles. (Don't believe me? Look up MAPs Minor Attracted Persons) these people are a couple steps away from demanding to be allowed to date your gradeschooler because they identify as one and they already introduce adult situations at pride fests with young children, nudity, and stripper culture.

An excellent novel
As you can tell by the negative reviews here, leftists cannot refute the arguments made by Ben in this book or anywhere. Instead, they resort to the low-level they know so well, of personal attacks and ad hominem. This book is a great read for anyone concerned or even interested about the state of our world today, and where we are headed. FYI: it’s scary!!!
