FSA 1.1/8 Headset Compressor - Black, 1.1/8-Inch

I upgraded my bike to have lighter carbon forks and I needed this item as this is the correct Headset Compressor that will not damage your carbon forks. (Must be tightened to the correct torque setting).

I purchased this after overtightening the top cap over 5NM in my previous one, this come with clear instructions so I installed easily I use it on my Cannondale Synapse road bike on carbon steerer tube.

Not the usual headset compressor design however it seems to work very well.

Exactly what you want for a carbon steerer. I recommend using a torque wrench OR taking this to your LBS though, it isn't worth the risk guessing how tight things should be in relation to a carbon tube.

Looks like good enough quality but it's only for carbon steerers which is not mentioned in the description. Instructions also say not for mountain applications

El mejor sistema para una horquilla de carbono. Usaba antes el clásico diseño con el expansor y el tornillo con tapa de carbono ( el de FSA) es más ligero, pero no apretaba bien del todo porque le faltaba distancia vertical al llevar la horquilla cortada. Con este sistema cero problemas, me ha solucionado la situación que siempre se aflojaba después de algunas salidas.

Niedriger Preis, schnelle Lieferung. Die Montage ist ultra einfach und gut durchdacht - im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Modellen ist dieser Expander super schnell und vor allem sicher montiert. Die Reibflächen sorgen dafür, dass nichts verrutscht und der Schaft ist lang genug, um auch unter die Unterkante des Vorbaus zu gelangen. Das ist bei manchen Modellen nicht der Fall. Was mich auch überzeugt hat, war das geringe Gewicht und die schlichte Optik gepaart mit der Korrosionsbeständigkeit der Kappe. Würde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen - wie gesagt - der beste Expander den ich bisher hatte!

Spedizione sempre in tempi eccellenti . Montato e già provato in varie uscite lunghe con bici da strada , con fondo anche piuttosto dissestato e con passagi su san pietrini . Montaggio semplicissimo , tenuta perfetta e nessun problema riscontrato dopo le uscite . Prodotto specifico per forcelle full carbon . Non usate il ragnetto con queste forcelle e vi consiglio caldamente di munirvi anche di una chiave dinanometrica da 5 NW per non rschiare di danneggiare il canotto . Sempre su Amazon trovate la Ritchey , molto funzionale e ad prezzo onesto , che potete mettervi tranquillamente in tasca . Molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto , il tutto ad un prezzo basso & qualità al top .
