A good replacement for the original
I am big fan of the Trend Fasttrack I use it quite often so the need for a new roughing stone (the one I use the most) was vital. The replacement stone works well and slightly faster which is always a bonus. Would recommend this as a must have if you are a regular user of the Trend Fasttrack.

Better than the finer diamond pads but still a slow process.
Good but takes an awfully long time if your chisels are a bit out of shape - to sharpen a half inch chisel took 5 hours!

NEEDED
This roughing stone is needed for the sharpening system and should come as part of it standard. It will take forever to get your chisel to the correct angel with out it for the first time.
