I had been storing my contact lenses just in saline for years, until my optician almost had a heart attack and said I MUST store them in a proper cleaning solution. I tried SO many, but they all just made my eyes sore because of the preservatives. I then found ‘Regard’ and it’s fabulous - no stronger than saline, but so much safer to store your contacts in. I highly recommend.

This is the best solution I have used yet for my softcontact lenses - monthly disposable - my eyes are still comfortable and not dry after more than eighteen hours on occasion. Won't buy another brand as long as I can get this one.

Being allergic to common multi purpose solution I started to decontaminate my contact lenses with hydrogen peroxide solution. However after few years of using it, my eyes became highly sensitive to the residual hydrogen peroxide and I needed to rinse the contact lenses with saline solution before wearing them even after 24h of neutralisation of the hydrogen peroxide (normally 6h is enough). Additionally during these last 10 years of use of hydrogen peroxide, my eyes became dried and sore earlier and earlier in the day and I hardly couldn't wear them anymore at the end. At this moment I discovered "Regard" and it is the ideal solution for me. I don't need to rinse my contact lenses with saline before putting them as I had to do when using hydrogen peroxide and I can wear them all day long without any discomfort! Additionally you don't need to let the contact lenses in the solution for a minimum of 6h as with hydrogen peroxide which is very useful when you have a late night out and an early start!

superb quality product

I got this for my husband who suffers from keratoconus and is prone to allergies due to the disease and the kc lenses which always give him trouble. We went for this solution as it contains no preservatives and he has been feeling much better since he started using it (this is our second purchase!). Later on the husband went to an optometrist specialised in kc lenses and found out this is actually the product they recommend. The missing star is just for vanity reasons - because of the oxygen inside the solution my husband's eye lashes have turned from dark brown to blonde! :D

I cannot tolerate preservatives and finding preservative free alternatives is not easy. I have used this product for some years and find it cleans my lenses and I have had no problems
