Proxxon kit is always worth having!
Proxxon kit is always good, well made and excellent value. Add to that the fact that spares are a 'phone call away, albeit in Germany (another reason to vote brexit down!!!). Don't worry about the language, Dorothee Rauch in the Spares Department speaks excellent English and really knows her way round the stock. There may be cheaper Chinese stuff about, but the precision and quality of Proxxon kit means it will outlast Chinese 4 or 5 times over!

Brilliant, it is just as good as the tools ...
Brilliant, it is just as good as the tools we used to.make in this country. I remember with pride when made in England meant reliablequality. It seems the Germans have taken our place despite back step by V.W. with the polluting from their Oil Engine.The chuck is surprisingly accurate. Well Done. BUY IT, you will not have any regrets, Trust me, meantime come on England.

Excellent chuck shame about the key.
The chuck is excellent and is perfectly true. It would be 5 stars, but the key is not a perfect fit and slips about 50% of the time - it is a bit of a pain but not a major issue.

Yes it does the job but it would be so much more useful if it went up to 8 mm
