First, the backing plates are way bigger than I expected. My plan is to put it on my lawn tractor-turned UTV. These shackles and plates might be a bit of overkill for my purpose, but no complaints. I have no capability to test the claimed strength of 2 Ton. These D rings look exactly like the ones sold at Harbor Freight for $$5.99 under the brand name "Badland". I have no doubt they are able to withstand 4000Lbs of force. The welds on the plates look solid, so hopefully just as strong as the D ring shackles. The added punch is a nice touch. I wouldn't say it's really needed, assuming anyone installing these would have some basic tools, but once again, no complaints. I was looking for D rings to install it on the bumper of my "UTV", but couldn't really figure out a way to mount them without welding. This kit provides a solution to those of us who don't have access to a welding equipment. Simply drill holes and bolt it on. For some applications (specifically mine) you'd need different length bolts. Overall, solid kit, and looks great

I ordered these for my trailer and they should work perfect. Looks like a working load limit of 2 tons which is plenty for my little trailer. Feels to me like it is just like what is in the picture. The centering punch works just as it should. The welds look strong and should hold up to some abuse. All in all these are good and should last a long time.

The quality of parts is really good. Zinc plating is good. The shackles are 1/2 ones but the brackets look like they will handle 5/8 ones also. The added center punch is a bonus also.

Theses are well made and work nicely on my trailer for keeping things from moving around while in transit.

These are robust, well made, and look good. A great addition anywhere you need an anchor point.

I always able to build a bracket to hang shackles from the front under my bumper. But I never could think of a design to hang some from the rear. Until I came across these deals. I used different off road (fancy) shackles but they fit on it perfectly. Not sure about the trailer use. I put these on my frame

Thick mounting plates and good shackles, these are nicely constructed. Used on a lifting and pulling plate for Bobcat skidsteer along side of a set of 3/8 chain hooks.
