I use this heater in my bedroom. I just put it on a small table. It does not take up a lot of space and because I live in a small condo apartment, that's important.The heater temerpature setting appears only as the setting is being made (display flashes) and then reverts to the room temperature but only if the heater is not running. When the heater is running, the display is blank until the heater reaches the set temperature. The design is perhaps not the most intuitive. However, after reading the brief directions in the manual. operating the heater is easy.The thermostat on my heater has a 3 degree on-off range. So, if I set it at 76 degrees, it will turn off when the thermostat reaches that temperature and then not turn on again until the the temperature drops to 73 degrees.The heater thermostat reads a few degrees high compared to the other thermometers in my home. But that is OK. I just set the heater temperature a little higher.The heater had only a faint smell when it first was used. It is not like some other heaters that emit a burning or plastic smell even after they have been run for many months or years. It is not what I would call quiet, but most of the sound is just an "air rushing" sound. It does not have that annoying buzzing or whining sound that some of the ceramic heaters do.This appears to be a standard electrical heating coil heater. Heat output is very good even on the low setting, although I would have liked a third lower speed for nighttime use. It is best used in a small room. Do not expect it to heat a large room.A built-in timer can be set to stop the heater after few hours.Overall, I am extremely satisfied. I could have paid a lot more for a heater that offered less.

this brand is awesome. I specifically searched for this brand as I had a similar heater at my office with the same brand for years (w/o oscillating feature) and it still works. I now work from home and so I wanted to get one for my home office. I wanted one with the fan only no heat option just like what I have in my office. I first purchased another brand, Brighton, which came as Not Working out of the box. So I went back to Amazon and searched for this brand. The one I have in my office, I picked up at Walmart for $10. I didn’t mind paying $26 for this one though as I am expecting this to work as well as my other Pelonis heater and this one has oscillating feature and digital temp control. I forgot to turn this off last night, i had the temp set to 75, I came back to the room this morning and the whole room is so warm which compelled me to write this review. I will sure write a review for the other Junk heater.

Love the turn off and turn on timer. Warms a master bedroom very well. However there is always a batch that is bad. I've bought had issues. The plug melts the wall socket or turning it on for the first time gave off and bad smell with smoke. I usually only set the timer to be on for 1hr so ​​there are no outlet melting hazards. It is sensitive for when it is barely bumped, and will turn off. Good feature. Even though it's has its issues, I will continue to buy this. When u get one that operates well, it makes for a great heater

I bought this to replace a Honeywell digital ceramic heater I’ve had for years. I loved the Honeywell... it worked perfectly for years in my greenhouse. This is a bit less reliable for two reasons:1) It is not ceramic… It has a regular coil element that is more likely to burn out without notice.2) The digital thermostat is a must for me… I set the temp in my greenhouse and rely on it to keep my plants safe. Unfortunately, the temp gap here is pretty big. For example, if I set it at 45 degrees, it won’t come on until the temp drops to 40. Then it heats to 43 and shuts off. Sometimes the outside temp outpaces the heater and it struggles to keep up.

I have had the first one I purchased for many years and it is still running strong which is why I purchased a second one. I use my original Pelonis in my pump house to keep the pipes from freezing when the temperature drops. I really like the fact that it has a thermostat. Once I set it up, I don't have to worry. I know it will kick on if the temperature drops below 40 in the pump house. I wish it went down to 35 degrees, but it is still an economical option to replacing all my water pipes! I use my new one around the house to keep the heat low and just warm the room we are occupying. I have had ZERO issues with this fan -- even running it at below freezing temperatures in my pump house.

Bought this little guy for the bedroom. Works great to warm it up a bit or just run the fan for the noise. Biggest drawback is the beeping noise when making any adjustment. It is SO loud. It literally startled me when I plugged it in the first time. Change the temp one degree? BEEEEEEP!!!!! Change the heat setting? BEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!! Turn it off? BEEEEEEEP!!!! Unplug it from the wall? *silence.... plug it back in? BEEEEEEEP! I won’t buy another one for this reason. If I find a way to make it not beep I’ll update you.

I have a space heater addiction, I have slept with one every night since I was a teenager. This is one of my favorites so that’s saying a lot! I keep it on the low setting because it doesn’t want to correct it’s temp enough, if it gets too hot it’ll cool itself down or pause until it kicks back on again to reach that temp. If it tips or gets on an angle it’ll shut off, also use it for the fan setting. Great white noise for sleeping and the digital light is dull so it won’t keep me awake. I hope they never stop making this heated, I may buy like 5 more just so I have it forever. Do they have support groups for these things? LOL

The media could not be loaded.  This heater worked great for the first little while. A little over a month ago it started to make a terrible sound while oscillating. I also don't like that it blows cool air for about 10 seconds once while it reached the temperature you've set it to before it shuts off. This always brings the temperature down a bit.

I needed a heater that would keep a constant temperate with a built in thermostat which will turn off when a desired temp was reached and turn back on when temp drops. This heater as advertised would have been perfect but the temp sensor is way off by over 8 degrees. If you don't plan on using the temp sensor feature and don't care about accurate readings this heater is for you. Nice quiet operation, oscillating is great.
