The Nuttery NT055 Round Peanut/Sunflower Seed Feeder, Mini

I have a large peanut feeder and wanted a smaller one also. This one is very nice but I wish it had a larger top to protect the peanuts and birds. I did buy a plastic dome and that works fairly well. The birds love the peanuts. Nice feeder. I have been using this feeder for over three months.

I purchased this feeder in December 2015. While the birds are able to get to the food and we have had no trouble keeping squirrels out the quality of the feeder leaves a lot to be desired. After the first year of use, I noticed a few signs of rust. When I got the feeder out this year, there was rust on the lids and on the bottom of the feeder and the green painted outer layer is crumbling off. I had expected much better quality of this feeder. I have a variety of other feeders made by other manufacturers and have not had this rust problem with any of them. I would not buy another nuttery and would not recommend it to others.

To small for larger birds, but the chickadees love it.

It does keep the squirrels from getting to the peanuts. BUT, I've also noted that since I offer a variety of Black Oiler, Safflower, Thistle, mealworms and a cylinder of different nuts, the peanuts offered in this feeder seem to go untouched. I've dumped them out a few times because the seed went soft and rancid. Perhaps if I'd only offer nuts from this feeder birds would have no other alternative but to what I serve from this feeder.The hinges have started to rust after 2 months of use.

Perfect size for the ground peanuts and the small bird love it!

well constructed product. very pleased with purchase!! WOODPECKERS love the peanuts and so do the black capped chickadees who can sneak between bars to get at peanuts.
