Inexpensive solution for garage security!
Garage doors are notoriously easy for thieves to defeat. I used these to improve our home security, especially when traveling. They work well and look like they came from the garage door factory once installed. Easy to install if you have a powerful electric screwdriver or impact driver. Fit should be universal, especially if your garage door tracks have large enough “holes” or slots for the lock to slide in and out. These locks accommodate padlocks in the locked position (if desired) to further protect your garage. Pro-tip: use double sided tape to affix the lock to the desired mounting point on the door before you permanently install it. Manually open the door to make sure the lock clears every part of the tracks on the way up and down. Use an electric impact drill to drive in the self tapping sheet metal screws (included).

Peace of Mind, when away.
Took an Hour, 15minutes to install, with a half hour moving the right track over. The latch hit the track on that side when the door was raised. There were four Squares in the tracks, two were under rollers. They were easy to knock out. Predrilled the holes, for mounting, as existing holes didn’t match up 100%. Used Snap Clips, in the latches holes, so the locks can’t be accidentally engaged.

Easy to install
These locks awesome. Before I purchased these, I used screwdrivers to secure the garage door while we were away for extended periods of time. Now all I have to do is slide the lock and put a small lock in the predrilled hole to secure my garage door. They are made of metal and extremely durable. They were easy to install.

Not a standard size. Doesn't appear sturdy.
They're smaller than standard locks. So, the bolt holes won't line up with existing locks and you'll have to make new holes. The spring is weaker than standard locks. Material is not as thick as standard locks. The red rubber caps are useless because the fall right off.

Locks are good, have strong construction, and have good throw distance. I needed to remove rails to cut a slot, but there was no problem with the bench drill. The self-tapping screws that it comes with are rubbish. The self-tapper tips are almost wider than threads; I had never seen that before. Good thing I looked first. The locks are definitely good.
