Pretty good for value
I have to say I didn’t expect much when looking for a tumble dryer around £250 price point but this has truly surprised me. I haven’t pushed it to its limits yet as I didn’t want to break it but for a single person it does a great job and is a quick dryer. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that it states that it has smart capabilities but only with phones that have NFC support so iPhones do not count on this list.

Highly recommend
Good price for a tumble dryer , drys my clothes in half the time of my old one plus stops itself when they are dry .remi ds you when fluff drawer is full or water needs emptying , only negative is water drawer is right at the bottom so is a bit if a pain to bend & pick it up when it's full but most dryers these days seem to put the water collection down there Handy to link it up to your fone via the app so you can select programme from the app .All in all a great tumble dryer .

Broke the second day I used it …
Frustratingly this tumble dryer started malfunctioning the second day I used it. Having been quite quiet on day one, it was significantly louder when it was being used from day two - a constant, low-pitched, rumbling sound. Then it started refusing to operate. Every few minutes into a cycle the “empty water container” indicator light would come on, the alarm would sound and the machine would stop, despite the fact that there was barely any water in the container. I emptied the small amount of water; I emptied some from the water tank in case the fault was there instead; I emptied the lint filter and made sure it was clear underneath it as well; I tried using different settings; I moved the unit further away from the wall, and turned off the radiator near it in case it was a ventilation issue; and I emptied some of the clothes in case it was registering as being overloaded (despite ending up with only around 1½ kg of clothes which had already been through a spin cycle in the washing machine). Absolutely nothing I tried made any difference and it still refused to work. After going through all of these steps nine times, I eventually gave up and rang Candy, who said they couldn’t send out an engineer to look at it for 10 days. They offered me the ‘opportunity’ to pay £4 a month for some kind of insurance so that if the machine couldn’t be repaired by their engineer I would get a new one (vague suggestion it might have been a refurbished one, at that). I had already registered the product for warranty straight after it was delivered and it is covered by a guarantee. Regardless, it is a brand new machine that stopped working within days of it being bought, so I politely declined.Credit to Amazon. I’ve arranged for it to be returned and refunded with absolutely no issues whatsoever.I really can’t recommend this tumble dryer at all. I would give it -5 if I could!

Tumble dryer
The tumble dryer is perfect. My only concern was on the morning at 0.6.30 am I get an email saying it won’t be delivered that day and I will be informed when it will be delivered. At 13.30 I had an email saying it had been delivered, that evening I got another email saying my order will be delivered today. I found all of this very confusing. On a happier note it is perfect.

Smart touch seems a bit redundant
Lots of settings, dries well. I may be using it wrong, but the smart touch seems a bit redundant since it only works if I boop the phone (like a debit card) and stay by the dryer. In which case, I might as well just press the buttons on the dryer.
