Great fixture, features, and price.
I received my light today, sooner than expected. It’s exactly as I expected. For $42.00, it’s a bargain. I’ve paid more, and got much less that’s for certain. It was packaged nicely, and pretty much flawless, (no obvious defects.). I have to mention though, that you should check the decorative round knobs on the bottom four corners. I didn’t notice that mine were, and one fell off during insulation. 🤦🏼♂️ Fortunately, I was able to find it and it easily screwed back on. * That’s when I noticed that two of the others were also bit loose. No big deal, but if you don’t want to lose one, be sure to check them.It was simple to install, just like any small outside light fixture, and I was very impressed by it’s motion detection range. It’s replacing a fixture with similar features, (that I paid TWICE as much for I might add), that didn’t have nearly the same motion range.Of course it’s too soon to tell how durable it will be, but for this price, I’d be thrilled if it lasted 4-5 years. I’m very happy with my purchase land I think you’ll be too.

Great porch light with motion detection.
This motion detecting porch light works amazing. We bought this to replace an old outdated flood light setup on the front porch. We also wanted something that would turn on automatically when someone approaches the front yard. This is definatly it. I would say that it picks up movement about 25yds away. This light has several settings that you can use to adjust stay on time and detection levels and so on. I was a little afraid that the paint would fade or rust, but so far it has been through high summer heat, spring rains, and snow and ice. The paint still appears new and shows no sign of fading. Installation was a breeze. just make sure to have the breaker turned off before you start and im sure anyone can install one of these. Instead of using a normal fluorescent bulb I upgraded to a LED type bulb and I must say it works perfect. The frost type glass helps spread the light and give even glow around the yard without any hard line shadows. My wife and I are planning to order a couple more of these fixtures for the other porches around the house. We really couldn't be happier. If anything changes I will update my review.

Nice looking and good
This is a nice-looking light, with a good motion sensor, at a good price.Install wasn't super-easy or super-difficult; I was hoping to be able to just fasten the new light on the mount for the old light but because the base is so thick, it didn't go that way. Once I got the new plate on, it went up just fine. There's two switches - one for sensitivity and one controlling how long it stays on - it took a bit of fussing around, but it's working the way I want now. Reasonably self-explanatory but not instantaneous setting up.The motion sensor is the knob on top, and it has a range (nominal 150-degree spread) centered straight ahead. The knob on top turns a bit, too, maybe 30 degrees, meaning that the sensor edge should be right at 90 degrees, but since it stick out from the wall a bit I have to step out onto the porch before the light comes on. In just a week or two it's become a new habit, no big deal - though it would have been nice if the sensor knob turned a bit more, so I could center the cone pointing at the door.

Works well, light has a nice look to it. Walk past at night and it lights. Perfect for front door security. Set timer for 10mins and people will walk away if not invited.

Great Product and Amazing Customer Service
Was looking to replace the 2 front lights on my TH but I wanted some with motion sensors, but I also wanted to be able to force the light on in case I had friends/family coming over late at night. This was one of the few brands that had a feature to do this I found. The Oil-Rubbed Bronze looks great with the seeded glass. Also the motion sensor is very powerful, I had to turn it on low sensitivity because every time a car drove by at night (even on medium) the lights would go on.Where I would like to give Heath/Zenith a extra star is their customer service. One of the lights I received had a small hairline crack in the glass. It wasn't really noticeable if unless you got close up to see, but I was concerned if this would cause issues in the future. I sent them a photo of the crack and they sent me a brand new replacement and told me to keep the one with the crack just in case. That in my opinion is great customer service. My only complaint is they don't recommend Florescent bulbs or LED's so I'm stuck using halogen bulbs, while better then incandescent bulbs, they are still not comparable (energy efficient wise to an LED).

The light works but this is NOT the dual-bright model
I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of these lamps, thinking they were dual-bright models; THEY ARE NOT. The lights are kinds cheap feeling but work as expected. The sensors are actually great and I liked that you could adjust the sensitivity in a meaningful/useful way.We purchased these - thinking they were dual-bright - so that our patio would be lit at night but save energy. We had a vagrant attempt to sleep on our patio and our old lights were not motion sensing so they were off. After installing these the vagrant came back and immediately unscrewed the bulbs in an attempt to hide on our patio. This was NOT something that I considered at the time but is worth mentioning. Since the bulb is easily exposed and reachable, and since these are "security" style lighting, it is worth noting that a different, more enclosed, design may be better for security reasons. All in all the light is good and looks nice. Just know what you are getting is NOT dual-bright and that this design makes it easy for someone to reach and unscrew bulb.

Awesome front porch motion detector light
Excellent motion detector light so far! In fact on the high motion setting, it picks up cars going by my street 125 feet out so I have had to decrease its sensitivity. I use a super bright LED bulb that only uses 6 watts and works great because the fixture is not totally enclosed. For LED lights to have longer life, you must not put in a totally enclosed fixture. It was super simple to install because I already had an old one that broke so took me about 15 minutes to install once I had the electricity turned off. I'm sure over time the finish will tarnish a little but thats ok because will make it more rustic looking. But it looks very elegant as well.
The Heath Zenith SL-4133-OR features 150-degree motion detection up to 30 feet. The lantern has clear seeded glass and is constructed of metal with a weather resistant finish. Uses one 60-watt max medium base bulb (not included). California title 24 compliant.

In the morning the light reverts to 'auto' (motion activated). For more information you can find the full manual on the Heath/Zenith site by searching for the model #.
