Very easy to use and well made, even with my arthritic hands i could crack the nuts

Walnuts, hazelnuts... It cracked them perfectly. It would probably crack the others too but I don't like almonds, or those odd dark ones that always come in the netted bag at Christmas. Such a sad lonely tool though, it's now sat at the back of the drawer for the year until Christmas comes around again. Aww.

I'll leave the usual trepidation of nut bits flying everywhere and trapping my fingers aside. If you want a fangled cracker that protects the kernels and your fingers it's not these. If on the other hand you'll live with the usual drawbacks of traditional approach to nut cracking this is the 5 star review for you.There is always an uncertain feeling whether the nut will go first or the cracker hinge + whether the grip is good enough that it will crack where it's lodged and not fly across the room. With these Trixie crackers that feeling is gone. I just cracked a few pecans, a walnut and the worst of all - three hazelnuts. At no point did I feel any of these were about to whizz out of the crackers' grip, the hinge would give way or the arms were bending too much. All of which uncertainties are scary, even if they won't actually happen they certainly feel like it with weak crackers and make nutcracking less of a pleasure.These are in fact the best traditional style crackers I have ever handled. If you want trad - IMO buy them !

This is a quality nutcracker, it is heavy and it works well.

Not the best design! Too messy to use. I guess there are better options on Amazon

Overall a good product, cheap in price, solidly built, grips are nice, cracked my nuts with ease!There's an odd metal-y chemical smell on one of the handles, comes off on your hands, I've washed it multiple times but it persists.. Can't help but think it's cheap Chinese chemicals that'll eventually give me cancer, but who knows.

Casse noix, très solide et très beau. On le tient facilement en main, il est très pratique. Facile à la ranger. Super surtout pour le prix.

Die Nussknacker hatte ich für 2 Freundinnen bestellt, die die ihrigen nicht mehr finden konnten. Ich bekam von ihnen die Aussage, dass sie sich freuten, mal wieder ein Werkzeug in der Hand zu haben, das "wie früher" solide und kräftig in der Hand liegt und nicht bei der ersten Nuss selber zerbricht, und dazu noch ein gefälliges Design hat. Kein Schnickschnack, sondern etwas, das tut, was man von ihm erwartet.
