A very splendid little sketchbook. I needed something to use as a sketch and travel journal for an upcoming adventure, and wanted something different from the Moleskines I usually use, and this was perfect. It is beautifully made, substantial but not too big.Main points:- The size and weight of the book are just right for carrying around with you all the time, and pretty hard-wearing too. No damage yet.- The paper is off-white, slightly cream, and has a nice texture, slightly toothy and great for pencil sketches. I wrote on it with gel ink, there is a faint show-through on the other side of the paper, but no bleeding or spotting. Sketches were in pencil only, so I'm not sure how well fine-liners would work with the tooth of the paper, but I've read elsewhere that it should be fine.

Cute and handy! The paper is thick enough - you can even use watercolour on it and it get's only minimally wavy, if at all. If you use india ink it won't shine through on the next page. All in all a good quality product, definitely worth buying and absolutely recommendable!I would have given 5 stars, only it arrived with the first page slightly crinkled at the edges and a small glue smudge. Otherwise I love it and will buy it again.
